McCarthy is built for Shanahan style offenses. Those are extremely common any more. Several places he can land in the league that will set him up for success.
Daniels best throws go outside the hash marks. Less offenses the focus around his strengths, but still plenty out there.
If the...
McCarthy is awesome throwing over the middle of the field and the Vikings live there. That would be the perfect team for him....I hope he goes somewhere else.
You are aware how a conversation works correct? I posted the draft because I liked it, You commented on getting a second 1st rounder in that draft, I built on your statement by mentioning a third 1st rounder. You see it made sense for the conversation and built on the dialogue.
If I am going to...
Good lord you had to dig deep to find an imaginary slight on this one, I never even contested you on Beebe. I pointed out the draft because I thought it was awesome. I pointed out Frederick went in the first because you mentioned you took Shazier in the second who also went in the first.
Not...
I don't think any of them are long-time solutions, Sutton was not great, but he was still the second-best option we had. The loss leaves us in danger of being a repeat secondary of last year. Draft should still be critical, but I would rather it not be a mandatory 1st round.
I would hope they sign one of Xavien Howard, Gilmore, or Witherspoon. Any one of them is an upgrade over Sutton and removes instant need to force an early drsft pick now.
Not a fair assessment of Goff imo. He is awesome with a clean pocket and terrible with any kind of pressure. I doubt any QB in history has a bigger swing in his game based on pressure. He was a part of the solution.....most weeks.
It's not like he was a part of the solution last year. Adding Davis and Robertson makes the CB room better than it was last year. It does definitely ramp up the need to draft one early though.
I wish Cam Sutton would hit Wide Receivers as hard as he hits women.

That is the dream. It lets him learn under some greats, and makes it so if an injury happens we are still good. Plus all 3 in the middle are either older, or have considered retirement. Lions need to spend picks on the line every year to try and keep it going.
Glasgow might regress a little between moving to left and age, but he will be between Decker and Ragnow as well. Even if both guards regress a little they are still a better line than last year. Pending health of course.
It is crazy that the Lions replaced the weakest link of their oline with an upgrade, and likely will get a comp pick out of the deal. It does age up the line a bit, but while we have these vets Holmes should be taking some solid prospects to learn behind them. I like Holmes offseason so far...
Lions should dedicate one of their first 3 picks to G for sure.
Holmes has done a good job of filling needs in Free Agency leaving BPA the easy call in the draft. It is a great spot to be in. CB and Interior line are the clear biggest needs. Ragnow has already discussed retirement and the...
