Not sure what it says since a lot of the blurbs are pay-board blocked, but losing Grimes would be a lot more than just losing the immense coaching talent. It would show that the talented coaches at VT, when a program comes calling, can be cherry-picked with no resistance. Jim Weaver has done a...
I'm not sure how I feel about all the RB offers since we still barely know how to properly rotate a backfield at this point.
Question for you gurus, does this recent increase in offers mean that we aren't in great shape for some of the big guys left on the board? Or am I reading into it too much?
Do you think the current offense (all veer, all the time) turns away potential highly-rated RB recruits? Certainly it is not built for a downhill power runner like M. Williams coming in, but I don't think (pray) VT will no longer run it next year.
If a receiver or running back coughed up the ball 8 times in two games, regardless of talent level, would they play? No. And that's why I'm officially on the Mark Leal train at this point. He can't possibly be worse than this. Logan may give us an opportunity to win at times, but he's always...
Gibson playing poorly in practice couldn't have been worse that Benedict playing terribly in the actual game...he whiffed multiple times on the DE and just let him past him. Him and Miller had a pretty rough afternoon.
I coulda sworn he left the July camp without an offer, might have been an improve your grades and we'll talk sort of thing. Rival doesn't show him as having one.
Saw that Shai McKenzie was talking about cancelling his planned visit to Pitt on Twitter. I know that he's high on FSU and they may have the lead, but hoping that Shane can work some magic here.
That's disappointing. VT's DB haul from last year definitely didn't help here, but I like those guys a lot. Stewart has a lot of versatility at RB too. Hope he does well...except when they're playing Tech.
