In your initial post about Wake Forest, you also cherry picked two games and crafted a narrative.
You're a total retard and this is a complete waste of time.
Michigan beat Rutgers and Nebraska by a combined ten points.
Michigan State beat Indiana and Nebraska by a combined eight points.
so, yeah, your argument doesn't hold up to facts.
Michigan's P5 opposition this year: 16-20
Michigan State's P5 opposition this year: 14-22
Do you believe those two teams should be ranked in the top ten?
Both Sagarin and Massey favor Wake Forest over Michigan State.
one loss Alabama, one loss Georgia, one loss Ohio State/Michigan/Penn State (whoever wins the Big Ten East), one loss Oklahoma and a one loss Oregon all make it in before Cincy.
fwiw, Scherzer has a 3.96 career ERA vs the Braves. In his last ten games, he has a 4.53 ERA against Atlanta. Braves have probably roughed him up more than any other team he has faced on a regular basis.
I've read that Big XII games that didn't feature OU or Texas have had horrible ratings over the course of the past 8 years. I'd be interesting to see the TV ratings for ACC games not involving FSU or Clemson. Are they higher, lower or comparable to the Big XII's ratings? If they're higher, you...
if ESPN is so worried, then they need to give the ACC five billions dollar in cash. Right meow.
in all seriousness, I do agree. I doubt that the North Carolina and Virginia schools will initiate anything, though. If the ACC dies, it will be due to Clemson/FSU jumping ship. The North Carolina...
i'm sympathetic towards the Big 12 schools that are getting left behind, but man, remember those Clemson/FSU to Big XII rumors that surfaced back in 2012/13? Hilarious. I'm pretty sure some random WVU fan made it all up, but man, people on the net really bought into it for a few minutes there.
This is a good point. tbh, in this entire Oklahoma/Texas to the SEC story, FOX's silence is pretty telling. From a distance, it appeared that the Big XII was an asset to them, but they weren't going to overpay for a 2-team league. With the ACC GOR, I think the ACC is safeish for now. With that...
tbh, I don't think the Big Ten expands unless their commissioner panics and adds teams just to keep the illusion that they're keeping pace with the SEC. There really isn't an attractive option for the Big Ten right now, unless they they pull the trigger and try to court USC and Oregon.
I think the ACC should stay at 14 under that scenario. WVU/ECU/Cincy aren't going to increase revenue for the conference and would dilute the amount of money each school would receive. Unless Notre Dame can grant the ACC a hail mary, then the ACC is going to cease to exist in about 10-15 years...
WVU would be added along with Notre Dame in the ACC's wet dream scenario.
The ACC has looked down on WVU since the day the conference was formed in 1953. Everyone talks about the Big Ten's obsession with AAU, but for a long time the ACC consisted exclusively of schools that were ranked in the...
Agreed. The ACC, Big Ten and Pac-12 aren't going to add schools if the perception is that those additions aren't going to add monetary value to the conference. WVU and Cincy to the ACC isn't going to happen because the ACC wouldn't be interested in that. The ACC would be interested in Notre Dame...
so, we're going to pretend that Gonzaga didn't have 7 top-50 wins on Selection Sunday?
cool, cool
Gonzaga had 7 top 50 wins on Selection Sunday. Not sure where this rhetoric comes from that Gonzaga needs to do something different. They lost to a great team last night. It happens.
