I'm hoping he lands on the PS, he's got so much talent and it would be nice to tuck him away there to try and develop. Our WR's are either old or on short contracts so the future looks a bit dim at that position.
Yeah, he probably wouldn't play this coming week but I'd expect to see a lot of him until he gets cut. I have my fingers crossed that we sign him to the practice squad and develop his skill, it would be nice to have an uber talented guy on the PS. Not only would that help him develop but it...
He's still a bit raw but no one can deny his talent. I'm surprised he was an UDFA to be honest. I'm hoping that we can stash him on the PS and let him develop his skill.
I love it. Baldwin is a waste if space and Washington is a 6'4" 204"5 lbs rookie receiver who runs a 4.3 40. Seems like a no brainer, Washington is a developmental player and could turn out to be great.
We've handicapped ourselves a bit by not going after a legit KR/PR so now that Hunter is gone then LMJ has a chance which pisses me off.
As for Baldwin, I really cannot believe he is still around. He had 0% chance of making the team and isn't even likely to survive the first round of cuts.
We do know that Brock is very solid as he was our best CB towards the end of last season. We don't however know what we have in Culliver as he struggled heavily when he was last on the field. I'm really curious to see what he, Cook and Morris have.
I didn't say attempting to return from injury I said attempting to return to form which he hasn't come close to yet.
I hate when people compare one player to another when trying to determine how the second player will age and/or return from injury because no two people are the same. 29 is...
I'm not sure I understand this post in response to the article; I agree that CB is a major question mark and I would have liked to go after a big time CB in the draft. That being said, the article said both starters were out on this day and it only mention the most experience CB on the team...
Carlos Rogers and Revis are different people and this age differently, I absolutely hate when people try to make those types of comparison. Not only that but Rogers fell of in an absolute hurry. I'm just not interested in giving a CB not named Richard Sherman or Joe Haden $12 in a season...
It is true, we would have risked the contracts of some of our major players if we went and paid top dollar for Revis. We have already done maneuvering to get Kaep signed, signing Revis would have complicated things dramatically. He is absolutely on the decline, Revis of now is not the Revis...
We couldn't have afforded Revis especially since he's on the decline. I would much rather have seen us draft someone. Our system however is one of those that doesn't require top level CB's in order to succeed which is why we don't go after them.
I still can't believe that we didn't go after a big time CB in this draft. I do however think Ward might be a full time CB when it's all said and done.
Cook proved in Minnesota that he isn't great in a zone, safeties play tons of zone coverage. Cook's best bet is to continue to work on his man coverage skills and learn to use his size and athleticism.
There aren't near as many people on since Ray left; there are usually only a few people on when I log on while there used to be tons. The quality of the board seems to have suffered a bit.
He deserved a raise, now time to give Boone the contract that he deserves.
Lol at the idea if extending Culliver right now. Chris Cook might beat him out as starter and Culliver really hasn't done much to warrant an extension to begin with.
