Well hey, you love him so much, maybe your beloved Cowboys.....or Patriots (Cowboys and Pats fan..wtf?) will pick up and pay for this far overpriced backup.
That would be my guess. He sucks AND he brings a lot of baggage with him. If you're going to "make a statement", then you damn well better be able to play ball. And he fails miserably at that.
I dont think he stood up for a "legit" cause. But I sure cant hate the man for donating money for food drops, jersey sales, suits...etc..etc..etc..
Glad he's off my team though.
That sucks. One of my good friends had the chance to meet Dwight at a Card Show convention a couple of years back for an autograph session. Dwight not only signed the 49er helmet that my friend took but also diagrammed "The Catch" on one side of it. It looked awesome. I have a 12x24 poster where...
Thanks for sharing that.
I do believe his political views were/are pushed on him by the woman that he is married(?)/dating...I think we all made the mistake of being pussywhipped at least once when we were young, lol.
What a complete fucking waste of space he turned out to be. Could have been one of the all time greats but apparently has a brain the size of a peanut.
It seems like we drafted at least one QB per year over the last 5-6 years, only to cut them immediately. I *WISH* we had at least given a few of them a shot as backups to possibly develop (Tolzien in particular comes to mind). Instead we'd cut them and them keep shit like Colt McCoy and Blaine...
Seven appearances by Brady, THAT is insane! As a Niner fan I can say that the only QB I will happily put on (or above at this point) Montana's level is Tom Brady.
And hey, congrats Pats fans!!! Love seeing two class act organizations in New England and Atlanta playing for a Super Bowl.
I'm sure BSPN is ticked since their love toys in Pittsburgh and Green Gay didn't make it.
Great effort today. Funny what happens when officiating isn't biased in your teams favor. And before you say it, yeah we suck. But you guys are a 6 win team if not for biased officiating. Enjoy watching from the stands just like us.
I enjoyed them just for the simple fact that for the first time in a very long time I don't care who wins the Super Bowl.
Both teams that I wanted to lose, lost today. I'm so sick of ESPN's love fest with jerk-ass Rogers.
Regardless, I feel that the Super Bowl will be a good one and will make...
Off topic here but I'm having a blast watching Steeler and Packer fans crying about how the NFL rigged the calls in their games. Two francises who owe at least 60% of their success to missed calls/bad calls over the last decade-plus crying about officiating seems so.. ironic.. to me.
If Kyle Shanahan turns us down..
Jed needs to go and beg freaking old-ass Mike Holmgren and Mike Shanahan to come back and "lead" this team. NO WAY can we afford to hire Cable.
Hell, pull out the Ouiji board and let Bill Walsh coach from beyond the grave for all I care. Just say NO to Cable!!!
Speaking of the coaching search, I'd gladly take Kyle Shanahan off of Atlanta's hands.
Though the cynical side of me thinks we'll go with Cable as HC and Jeff Fisher as GM..okay I know that's really out there but so is our f'n owner.
Anthony Lynn is the a-hole that fumbled against Green Bay in the '95 divisional round game. They returned that fumble for a TD and never looked back at us...for the better part of the last 20+ years.
Screw him.
