Kinda freakin' murdered this thing this year.
Top 3 team issues as of this date are lackluster OL play (especially at C), lack of quality depth at WR, and a fairly decent need for someone to play slot CB. Managed to nail all of those items with legit prospects, and not just "bodies at Position...
Separation seems to be the biggest flag on Polk from everything I've seen most talk about during this year's scouting/draft process. Hands are almost always given as a strength though. <shrug> He can't be worse than Dionte Johnson in that regard.
I like him fine for what the Steelers need...
So, the Steelers land a RT and C in the first two rounds, and still land a top 50-60 prospect at wideout in round three, and AND stick it to Cleveland in the process?
Crushing this thing.
First two picks couldn't have went much better for Pittsburgh.
They were in need of an utter revamp on the OL regardless, but the brand of "dinosaur ball" that Mike Tomlin clearly prefers (as witnessed by the hiring of Artie Smith, among many other tells since Ben has retired) practically...
Getting ready to drive home. Leaving offer window open for the pick on the clock until then (so, about an hour) after which I'll probably just make the pick rather than belabor it.
Pittsburgh probably willing to entertain offers for #20. Not looking to trade out of round 1, nor will I HATE staying put, but throwing it out there anyway.

Shanny always drafts at least one runner. "Death, taxes, and a Shanahan drafting RBs every year." That system grinds them down quick.
