I did glance at team OPS each of the last 8 years, plus this year. Unless this team really heats up, they'll be the worst hitting of the bunch, except for the 2019 squad.
2015 - .647
2016 - .693
2017 - .690
2018 - .680
2019 - .627
2021 - .722
2022 - .712
2023 - .708
2024 - .632
I'm thinking more along the lines of measuring success by OPS. Setting the threshold somewhat arbitrarily at .800 (and a minimum 100 ABs prior to 2024):
2024 (thus far):
Christian Koss - 2.075 (3 games and currently injured)
Damon Dues - .913
2023
Meckler - .881
Matos - .842
2022
Schmitt -...
That is really aggressive, especially since they didn't want him starting the season with any team.
It is also odd considering how much they've kid gloved him up to now.
Only two times someone besides the regular five (Cain, Bumgarner, Vogelsong, Zito and Lincecum) didn't start was April 27th and Sept 23rd.
And before tzill responds, yes, I realize that this was an anomaly. Point still stands, it can still happen, just slightly higher than the never level.
I generally agree but have found sharing what little I have to be harmless. It is whatever you are comfortable doing. This is a pretty tight knit group who’ve posted together for many years. Hope you fit in well.

Hey @Brightboat , as I was welcoming a new member to this board, I realized that you haven't shared anything in our Introduce Yourself thread (that, and you still list yourself as an Angels' fan, which I'll probably give you a hard time about for awhile or until you change it, whichever comes...
