This year will be a real test of how good of a coach Harbaugh is and how well he recruited. I have faith in Harbaugh ... If he wasn't good, there would not be so much hate for him (and Michigan).

I don't think there are 15 more talented teams, but every single team is more experienced. I think UM could earn a top 15 ranking, but today, it is nothing more question marks across the board. DL is about the only spot with everyone returning with experience.

If they had some juniors or seniors filling roles who had 2,3,4 years in a college strength program and learning the system -- I'd be more comfortable. I can see a lot of mistakes and learning on the fly.

I've seen this tact from you before. "Michigan/Harbaugh must be good because people hate us." It's a nice idea, but decidedly false.

I'd make a wager that the majority of the hatred comes from the fact that Michigan hasn't been good for a long, long time, yet Michigan fans think they have been. The Harbaugh signing exacerbated it.

There is much less hate for MI than there is for tOSU. Winning does that. MI needs a NC this century for there to be any real hate.

I can read our past records and I am under no illusions has been the top team lately, but hate comes from a special place. I don't hate Michigan State because they have pretty much owned us over the last decade. ohio state, however, is another story. Again, you guts have owned us lately ... and I am not so bold as to say that will end soon, but I expect a coach and players to play with the hate ohio state deserves. Rich Rod did not understand that ... Brady Hoke understood it but could not close. Jim Harbaugh understands and Urban Meyer understands. Maybe ... just maybe we can begin to fight back. I am a results type person ... I love Michigan's history but I know it means nothing ... beating ohio state on the field (not just once but regularly) is the only answer.
