I agree Lions could sign in his prime Jerry Rice and he would only talk about his slow speed.

However the lack of pass rush added sucks. Maybe Quin thought that improving the back seven will bring the sacks for us this year?

Our LBs were not good enough in coverage last year to defend short and intermediate routes and both Lawson and Wilson were not great either. I even think Quin had a down year (at for him anyway). Slay started very slowly too. After we gave up a shit ton of points in the first 4 games, Austin decided to play the CBs way off and let teams complete the short passes. There was no way we were going to get any sacks after that. Hyder was a sack machine early in the season but we were giving up too many longer plays.

I think D is a little harsh but C would not be.

They did fail to add a RB. Failed to add a pass rusher who will make the roster. They Drafted a QB. A MAC TE, a DII corner who is the size of an 8th grader and a second round corner with the speed of a linebacker.

But they didn't draft a long snapper this time. I'll focus on the silver living.

Bears also got a D.

Who gives a fuck what he thinks, it's moronic to grade a draft less than 2 years after it. Nostradumbass can't see into the future and how these kids will develop.

^^^^^ This ... players have to be a good fit for the team and coaching staff ... I'll give Quinn the benefit of the doubt!!

Draft grades are utter BS at this point.

Draft grades only begin to have relevance a year later, and even then. It's with a small grain of salt. Drafts only legitimately call for a grading 3 years later.

How many good grades have the Browns gotten over the years? Remember in that draft when they got Brady Quinn, how we all slobbed on their knobs?

How many people said that JaMarcus Russell would turn around the Raiders in the late-00's?

Draft grade are based on how well you think your team drafted not how the player will turn out. Did they draft talented players in your opinion?, did they fill holes in the roster?, and did they get any late round steals(again in your opinion)? The only way to really tell if the player is a good pick or not is to wait and see(Personally i think you have to wait and see if they get a 2nd contract)

Exactly. Grades based on speculation, instead of a body of work are meaningless. To get caught up over them is quite silly.

I'm not saying don't speculate over your team's draft. However, to go looking around the internet at these type of articles, as if they carry any weight. It's kind of a waste of time.

As is all this discussion about it, but its the reason were here posting

Edit I think the Bears made the right move BTW if you don't have a franchise QB you better do what you can to get one
