I live in South Jersey, yes those football games were in Philly. The crowd is crazy but as an opposing fan going in have to show respect, it's their house. I've been to a few other games since most of my friends are Eagles fans and I've only seen 1 fight, not sure who started it. The problem is the media won't let the drunk Santa story die and I still dislike JD Drew.

Philly just set a new standard for hosting the event, according to a lot of the people who go every year. By far the biggest and most lively crowds. We'll see how next year compares but this clearly blew Chicago out of the water.

I would assume the venue could move just about anywhere in the league, although some northern venues could be a bit problematic in late April, weather-wise.

I'd think/hope the host city had more to offer than just the draft. Not sure Green Bay would get that large of an attendence.

That would take 30 years. Most of the cities would be worth a visit. Even Buffalo would give is2a chance to see Niagara Falls and take a trip into Canada.

I really liked that venue there in Philly.

When it was in Chicago, they had the picks made at the Auditorium Theatre while there was "draft town" set up at Grant Park where there were festivities for fans. That was good too.

Never been to Philly, but are qualified to judge it based on what you have read. Boston is not exactly a paradise either. I know that 1st hand due to living in Quincy for a year.

You know I've never been to the moon but I know it exsists. I've been to Philly I've just never taken in a game there. Not likely too.
As for qualified? If it had only been one incident, or one person telling the world what a disgrace it is, I wouldn't have commented. But we both know there are volumes (not fiction) written about the town and the football fans. I get it though. If I cheered for the Eagles I'd be quite angry as well.
