I hope the OSU fans that insisted Peppers was overrated and not 1st round talent...

It's well known that anyone the browns draft in the 1sr round isn't 1st round talent though.

Pete Prisco from CBS just gave this pick a big fat F grade. LOL.

I think possibly because of what they missed by trading the 12th pick away and Deshawn Watson.

I also think some are also still perplexed by the fact that he has no true position. Which seems like a positive to me in that there's multiple spots he could fill on a team, but what do I know.

I think it's a huge reach for a team that has so many holes in to pick a player that has no real position but more of a special package or a special teams player. They probably could have picked him up in the second round.

I was pusses when the Raiders picked Conley over King smdh. But that awful bears trade and and Trubisky pick made me feel a little better

I think Conley changes your mind. The kid is really good. The off the field stuff is starting to look less realistic every day so as long as that doesn't become a problem/distraction then I think he makes us pretty happy as Raider fans

Notice its Michigan rivals that somehow don't like this pick.

I think he's gone in the first round either way. If they skipped on him, there's no chance at getting him. But I think I pointed out the major flaw in their pick, they traded down and potentially missed on an actual QB. I think Peppers works for them specifically because they can plug him into many positions of need.

Peppers is immediately the best LB, S, CB, RB, WR and QB on the Browns :D

Not really. Peppers is too small to ever see the field at LB, doesn't have the ball skills to play CB......he's most likely going to play S

And I disagree, he could have dropped to the second round, he was no sure fire first round pick. He's a great athlete, but his size limits his playability.

Will be interesting to see what the Browns do with him.

Thats a huge negative in the NFL. These guys work on their skill to perfect what they do, Peppers is going to try and work on everything? He will be a fast guy and great athlete that is not great at football.

King is much more talented than Rapely.

Or Browns fans who have seen the dumb picks the Browns make.

I loved the Browns draft this year. Did they get a new GM or something?

With Peppers -- he is a guy who was a 2nd team all-American as a safety his first full year of college. His 2nd year, with the team having no LB'ers, he moved to LB and was named a 1st team all-American.

If the Browns put him at Safety and let him perfect one position. He will be great for them. At UM, he spent practices taking snaps at safety, LB, CB, QB, RB, WR, punt returner, kick returner.

So you know his football IQ is thru the roof, just having to learn all those positions and what is expected out of you. I think he will be a huge asset for Cleveland as a strong safety -- his speed and quickness make it almost impossible to block in open space, so he will excel at supporting the rush defense immediately.

I don't think he'll work on "everything" in the NFL like college, but I think his versatility allows a team to take him and plug him in, and teach him, at a position they need.
