Paxton may have earned himself ace status.

Hard to believe the M's lead the league in points scored at 107, problem is they given up 104... Which might explain why they're under .500

Today's game is proves my point from the other day that we are hitting a lot of fly balls which die this time of year.

Verlander is still a beast. Look at his pitch count for today... dont see that anymore.

Thats the thing we know this team is capable of having the offense and dipoto overhauled the pen and improved the starting pitching but they underperform so far. Dipoto was banking on that if the pitching is at least half decent they'd be over 500

I still don't think he did enough to improve the pitching. Gallardo is not an improvement for any team chasing the playoffs. I liked Smyly move, and still do, but bad luck screwed us on that one. I still think he should have signed a veteran RP with late inning success history.

Hell yeah! Nice bounce back to take the series after the 1st game. Needed the pitching performance last 2 games and an impressive bounce back. They coulda just hang their heads

I think all the moves they made recently have had an affect on them. A little more energy and maybe a statement to some vets that it was time to perform or move aside.

Nice to see the M's win a close low scoring game. Haven't done that very much so far this season.

Thanks for this! I couldn't catch the game so i was following it on gamecast. I loving this Motter guy more and more... seems to be a real steal. Not to mention Gamel getting the go-ahead run.

Going back to your previous post. I agreed with what you said with the flurry of moves... hopefully that wake the guys up and get their head out of their asses. It's nice to see guys like Motter continuing to play hard no matter where they put him. Of all the guys, he has to be the most valuable. Good for him.

He went cheap in the pitching department. He added some depth but not higher quality. I think getting Cishek back should help the pen. There is very little consistency right now with the pitching.

I hate this fucking team. We give up 19 fucking runs to open the series then win it? I honestly don't know how to wrap my head around that one.
