How awful! A good looking, successful, healthy guy makes a ton of bad choices and cannot see a way out except suicide. It is depressing.

At least it saved tax payers from footing the bill for 50+ years of jail time. Wish I could feel bad for him, but this is a guy who grew up in a good neighborhood, was blessed with good looks and immense athletic abilities. He was given a winning lottery ticket in life and instead decided he wanted to act like a gangster.

I just think it is sad that someone with so much potential in life, flushed it down the toilet. I guess I should rejoice when someone as much of scumbag as Hernandez kills himself, but I just can't bring myself to do it. I would have much rather seen him make a HUGE change in life. Just my two cents.

The only thing I feel bad for is his daughter, for having a complete POS as a father.

Meh, it's not like he got hooked on herion and just couldn't stop using. The guy had everything and was suspected of three murders, convicted on one. No reason to feel bad for him for a second. Dude was evil.

That's another aspect of it. I really like redemption stories, so that is probably why I hate to see this kind of ending.

I just read he had a 4 year old daughter. As the parent of a boy who will turn 4 in less than a month -- I despise Aaron Hernandez even more. That child didn't get to choose her parents and now will never have a relationship with her father.

I honestly hope that little girl is put in a good home with loving parents. No 4 year old should be put in a situation like this.

I don't have the mindset to think, good, he deserved it and we don't have to pay for him now.

I grew up knowing many like him. Hernadez had a way out of that lifestyle but chose to keep living it even with a 40 mil contract in hand. I just feel bad for the little girl. A murderer for a dad and an obviously messed up mother who stuck by a killer.
