If players maturing in the system were responsible for setting scoring records, why haven't we seen this from past Huggy teams? Especially if we're witness to the loss of a major contributor as Devin...

Does missing a player equate to what I've implied? Devin had plenty of negatives which hurt the teams he was on. Do these not matter? Nathan has some true negatives which hurt this year's team. Will next year's team find a way to replace some of the positives Nathan provided and give the team a boost in areas Nathan wasn't proficient at?

Jonathon Holton was a major reason for many areas of success his Sr season. Was he missed this year?

I present Eron because we had so many crying about his transfer. He was replaced and the team actually became much better without him.

Funny how that works... huh?

IMHO the reason the team scored more at least by appearance is that they decided to take more shots down low..which I have been screaming about for two years now since they have been mediocre at best during the last 4 years in having any kind of consistency behind the arc

I watched every minute of the game...... Miles missed the two free throws, Gon got the rebound, got a long pass to an open man at the arc.......HAD HE made the free throws, Gon would have been struggling to inbound the ball, rather than getting it right down the floor in transition, I understand exactly what I saw, at the VERY WORST, Gon gets the ball down the floor and we end in a tie going into overtime.......
As usual, can't see the forest for the trees. If you believe that Miles' missed free throws was the sole reason why they lost the game, then you are delusional, which we already know. Haters are going to hate.

Taking advantage of freedom of movement allowed our guys to attack the rim again this year. Unfortunately, our players aren't great ball handlers and had difficulty creating space or the inside the paint game could have been more fruitful.

No, it is NOT the sole reason, my friend, but is indeed a MAJOR reason, BUT, had those two free throws been made, WVU would be in the final four today......

How about the bunny that Nathan missed after Dax's 2nd missed FT attempt? That bunny would have provided the same 2 points and allowed WVU to get into the press. Nathan's missed 2 footer clearly cost WVU a chance to be in the Final 4 too!

Glad you took the out I provided. What if the team shot a percentage better in 3-pointers, free throws, or from the field? It would have given us a chance to move on. What if we went for 2 points with 35 seconds and fouled to force Gonzaga to make free throws? When you lose by a tight score, there are a lot of 'what ifs'. Adrian's missed bunny would have put the pressure on Gonzaga to maintain the lead while give us the opportunity to win the game by making a shot vs a 3-pointer.

If Dax made the free throws we win; If Adrian makes the layup, we win; If Carter makes another 3, we win; If Philip does not make that last foul, we win; If anybody would have made that extra basket, we win.

If Devin Williams stayed for his senior year, we would have won.

Team game, every player could have one it, but as a team, they lost.

Why is he playing an injured player/?
Some bitched that Dana can't develop or recruit players. That an injury isn't an excuse because it should be next man up. It's OK for Huggy. Who was Adrian's back up? Can't wait to see someone onbthis board spin this situation.

I did hear a torn labrum was worth an automatic 6 points, so I guess we would have won the game.

Or is it Huggy can't bring in talent here?
NOTHING is ever on the current HC, haven't you learned that from your buddy BB? ALL losses are because of FORMER HCs and all but one AD that has ever been here!!! Guess the price of a pop and hot dog need to be raised, as the more you fleece your fans, the more success you have............

Once again, you're not paying attention.
