I live in fear that someone will find out about the 20 hours of community service I got when I was 13

I'm like Trump. Investigate all you want. I'm clean as a whistle.

Plus he saves a fortune buying child sized gloves.

I personally thought those tiny Trump memes just made him look more bad ass.

That kind of talk will get your background checked, mister.

Waste of money on me. Had to drive to Hutchinson KS just to walk in and pay my fine. Apparently they frown on failure to pay your fine part. Oh, they also wanted pics and my prints.

Lions re-signed DE Armonty Bryant to a one-year, $855,000 contract.

It's a minimum-salary benefit deal. A situational pass rusher, Bryant served two suspensions last season, one for violating the PED policy, the other for violating the substance-abuse policy. Then he finished the year on injured reserve. Nevertheless, he tallied three sacks in five games. Still only 27 (in May), Bryant has the inside track to a 53-man roster spot.

Bryant resigned. Should have a chance this year to make or break. He showed flashes last year. He needs to prove he can be an asset which I think he can be.

The Lions are a potential landing spot for free agent DT Johnathan Hankins.

The Lions haven’t been connected with Hankins, but he’s from Detroit and would give them a run-stopper next to Haloti Ngata. With just $10 million in cap space, it’s hard to see them fitting him on a short-term deal. Hankins is targeting $8M annually.

I disagree with the cap thing. I think they can sign him long term if they want. Just pay him next to nothing this year with a decent signing bonus and guaranteed money. Dude is only 24.

Oh wow, interesting. I assumed they'd let him walk.

I can see signing him to a five year deal with them being able to cut ties after year 3, when he turns 39. (Rumors)

@Old Lion I was believing in tag route also, down season may be a good time to sign now before he blows it up when healthy again.

Read on Roto that Laken Tomlinsons roster spot is on the line. We could be 1 good draft pick away from sending him to medical school.

"Lions coach Jim Caldwell said he is "glad" DT Haloti Ngata decided to come back for his 12th season.

Ngata considered retirement following the season, but he is coming back for his third year in Detroit. Ngata has not played 16 games since 2011 and no longer contributes as a pass rusher, but he is a solid anchor in the middle of the line and a great veteran presence in the locker room."

(Maybe Caldwell trying an April Fools joke?)

Signed for only 30 mil and 3 years with Indy. I would have done the longer deal with minimum year 1 and bonus money but 8 mil/year after 1st year. Could have been a steal.

Maybe Quinn feels solid at the DT position this year.
