He makes that shot 1/20 times probably. It was smart not to try and foul him there it just didn't work out.

It was a bit cocky and the timing of it was not the best. Yes, I don't like Wisconsin and yes they've owned the Gophers in bball. Not sure if they've played ND in football.

I was just trying to have a little sense of humor, christ. You're the one that started a thread when the gophers lost to mtsu. And I didn't say shit about it.

I was also going to say I'm glad I don't have to see Bronson or Hayes again(which is a sign of respect, if you couldn't figure it out)

Your logic completely ignores the (very real possibility) of a foul. A two point possession, either from a shot within the arc (because we wouldn't be able to defend aggressively) or a foul was not at all insignificant. It was probably more likely than a three.

Also, Koenig would have still been on the floor, so you can subtract a defender.

apparently you haven't watched him play most of the season then because he's made that a
shot quite a few times this season just not with .04 left in overtime of the sweet 16..

Eh I just don't see that happening. You almost never see a foul called 80 feet from the basket with 3 seconds left. I know this sucks. Even in a game with terrible reffing ( which I honestly don't think this game was ) you never see a game changing call made 80-85 feet away

I started that thread because several of you Gopher fans were running your traps about the seed you got and you felt it was fair when comparing it to UW. It was nonsense.

I'm moving on now...please do remember they are kids...they don't get paid and don't really need the criticism for having fun...especially after something like he just pulled off...it's not like he went to the Gator's bench and started mouthing off or something...he did it to Rodgers...so it wasn't meant as some disrespectful gesture...it was between them.

I found the game disgusting....because UF didn't win by 12 in regulation.

Minnesota had a better resume. Not really arguable. I even said Wisconsin was the better team entering the tournament. And i said UW was underseeded. Not sure what made you get your panties in a bunch. If you get bent out of shape over that you need to chill.

I'm not saying it was disrespectful, it was cocky, just like when Rodgers does it.
