This is true. But does anyone actually think MSU was good? The name on the jersey said one thing, the product on the court the entire year said an entirely different thing.

MSU benefited from their prior reputation in previous years and Tom Izzo's reputed ability to get more out of his team come tournament time. This team never learned how to work together.

Very true, MSU probably played their best game of the season for 32 minutes Sunday and still managed to lose by 20. Purdue will really be the first test for Kansas.

Two things could have made them good. Starting Cassius Winston and not losing two big men before the season started to injury.
