Bruins handled Cinn, and will face Kentucky, again. Leaf will need to have a game like he did in the first one. I think Ball will be Ball.

Haha, Down Goes 'NOVA, and Down Goes DUKE.

How did Carolina get 7 losses?

Man, that East region….

Wisky-Florida, South Carolina-Baylor.

Congrats to Oregon & UCLA today on the wins and to SC on a nice season.

4 west coast teams in the Sweet 16, not shabby.

Reading about the after game locker room talk between Leaf and Ball had me

From LATimes:

UCLA was so unstoppable Sunday evening that the Bruins ran a give-and-go long after their most significant triumph of the season.

As power forward TJ Leaf sat in front of his locker stall, reflecting on how he had elevated his game following a horrid first half, he received kudos from Lonzo Ball two lockers over as his shirtless teammate reached for a towel.

“We appreciate you, bro,” Ball said.

Said Leaf: “Yeah, I appreciate that, ’Zo.”

Said Ball: “Next time, try to play two halves.”

if USC can keep Enfield that program is going to be very good soon.

Yeah. Really happy with what he's done. They're a lot of fun to watch. They were one of the youngest teams in the NCAA this season (321 out of 351, iirc). So, if everyone comes back, they have a chance to be pretty good next year.

They should all come back.

I don't see a lot of good reasons these young men come out early if they are only going to go to the D League.

Do you see any of them having a chance in the draft this year?

I don't think they'll declare, but I didn't think Jacobs and Jovanovic would declare last year.

I'd give Boatright and Metu an outside chance, but I think they'd be much more likely to end up as undrafted free agents and in the d-league like Jacobs and Jovanovic last year.

Metu made a huge jump from last year to this year (PAC's Most Improved Player), 1 more year could make him millions.

Boatright missed 18 games, didn't really get into game shape and start showing what he can do until close to the end of the season.

They would both do well to return, but you never know who's in their ear and what they're telling them.

Arizona vs. USC is going to be incredible next year. Depending on early entries from UCLA and Oregon....look out, the top of the PAC is going to be unreal again

Congrats to Baylor. Fun game too watch. Good luck to them the rest of the way.

As for my Trojans...one of the youngest teams in the country, weren't expected to do much in the PAC, weren't expected to even make the tournament, let alone, win a couple of games in it. I have no complaints.

Hopefully, everyone comes back. They have a chance to be pretty formidable next year.

Fight On!!

I'm afraid Boatwright might declare for the draft. If he comes back USC is for sure a top 25 team, and I'd say for sure a top 3 Pac 12 team next season.

UCLA will look completely different next year, but they bring in a top 5 class so they'll have talent. Same might be said for Zona, although I think they only lose Markannen early to the draft. USC should be very very good and Oregon will be good again depending on who stays, if they don't lose anybody early, I think they're a top 10 team. I do think the depth of the Pac 12 needs to be better next year though, but I'm not sure it will. I'm assuming Rabb will leave early, so Cal is going to dip, and Kuzma declared for Utah(but didn't hire an agent). I actually think ASU might be in line to finish 5th in the conference. They have a really nice class coming in.

Yeah, he might. I hope he doesn't. I think another season in college will do him some good. He missed over half the season this year, which is likely to hurt his stock. At best, he'd be a late 2nd round pick this year. If he comes back, he could play himself into the first round and maybe the lottery.

I haven't seen mocks but I'd have him as a 1st rounder right now. But going back to school would definitely help him since he missed so many games. He's a really talented player with a skill set that will translate to the next level.

Yeah, I haven't seen any either. I'm basing it on what I saw of him and how much time he missed.

Yet still they will have a good mix of both Upperclassmen and Freshmen talent.

They probably keep Holiday, Welsh, Goloman & Ike (That is if Ike doesn't bolt. He needs to stay at least another year) But you are right, Ball & Leaf will be gone, and so will Alford & Hamilton, so there are four starters so they will look a lot different.

Coming in are Wilkes & Hands, both are 5 star recruits. They will fill the roles vacated of Leaf & Ball respectively. I'm not sure if CSA will start Holiday or Hands, but I expect we see Holiday off the bench once again.

Commits Riley & Hill will likely add depth behind Ike & Welsh, and will split minutes no doubt. And let's not forget about LiAngelo. He is only a 3 star commit, but his Daddy says he's better than Lonzo. So you can take that with a grain of salt. Either way, I expect LiAngelo will provide solid depth at the SF spot.

Word on the street is that Kobi Simmons is gone, Trier is likely to stay, and there is actually a slim chance Markannen returns for another year of school, which would be crazy. I can't imagine anything but a preseason #1 if we get the chance to team Lauri and Ayton together, so I'm going to spend a lot of time praying over the next few weeks

Screw the Pac 12 first USC overcomes a 15 point half-time deficit to beat my PC team and then Oregon overcomes a 12 point hole to beat URI :suds: Pac 12 crushed my little Rhody dreams
