I get that he has ties to the program but no way is that a better job than UCLA in my opinion.

Not so sure what is so attractive of the Indiana job. Reminds me a lot of the former blue bloods in CFB where they have a lot of history but in 2017 they are not that attractive.

The state of Indiana is a basketball recruiting hotbed, the fanbase is massive and the resources are limitless, but yeah, it's not an attractive job. All you have to do is keep the kids from Indiana in Indiana. As of the last decade or so they've been heading to MSU, UK, or UM. Your whole job is simply locking down the state.

There is also the rise of schools within the state of Indiana as well to compete with in recruiting.
