Hopefully this isn't a repeat thread.

I just purchased the 52, 56, 60 wedge set. All in all it was $92 bucks. I've had a lesson recently and with practice been chipping much better last few rounds. Long story short... I FEEL LIKE I EARNED NEW WEDGES! HAHA. So pulled the trigger on these.... Anyone else use them?

My other wedges have been in the past vokey or cleveland. But never new always second hand since I wasn't good enough to tell the difference or control the shots at that stage of my playing career (if you call it a career.)

I have a Sounder 60 degree that I've owned for 32 years. Then just the Gap and Pitching wedges from my Titleist AP1 set.

I have a golf flag and hitting mat in my front property so I can hit a full gap wedge. I hit a bucket or two almost every single day.

Lol!

Wedge and putting practice will help your game more than anything else.

Nope but if you can hit the 60 with any degree of distance control, God bless you.

This.. I try my 60 maybe once or twice a round.. Usually if I have completely lost the round and it won't mean anything. I just got to keep on reminding myself, "let the club do the work, don't get to help it" easier said than done

I've never owned one, but a buddy I play with has one that I've hit a few times. Too much loft for me. I hit it 70 and 40 yards with what I thought was the same swing. It would take a lot of work to get used to it. If I need extra loft I open the face of my 56 a little bit.

I'm usually consistent with the flop shot.

I honestly probably should just trade mine in since I rarely use it. I just feel cool with it in my bag.. Which doesn't help my game one bit

I never try to hit my 60 its full distance....that's a diasaster waiting to happen. I use mine for simple flop shots over bunkers and greenside rough. If it's 60 or 70 yds, I'll choke down on a less lofted wedge.

Since no one else could tell us a story about the bombtech wedges I will chip in again (get it ... chip.) Anyways, I practiced with each the 52, 56, 60 three times roughly a hour each total in those practice sessions. Weather brought winter cold or rain in Charlotte so I went 22 days without playing on the course. I finally got out on Sunday and the wedges made their first on course action appearance. First out of the bag to be used was the 56 from about 55 yards sitting in the rough. Landed on the green and rolled out nice. It was only hole 2 so wasn't a great hit on the ball and the club saved it. Fast forward using the 56 a few more times and each hit did it's job. I never got to use the 52 on this day. However, since the topic here touched on the 60 a lot hahah. I did hit on hole 18 a great 60 lob shot from 35 to 42 yards out pin high 3-4 feet from the hole on a par 5 missing the par putt! SMH. All in all the wedges at their price point are a BUY, BUY, BUY! Oh also had one sand next to green bunker play and used the 56 opened the face and the club went through the sand really nice and the ball bounced up and checked quick right on the green. Again story of the day poor putting and I missed the putt.
97 on the day with the layoff and still winter course conditions.
