The Last Alaskans

Anybody watch that show? Now new human habitats allowed since 1980 and only 7 cabin permits remain in the upper northeast of Alaska in an area the size of S. Carolina. Nearest roads are hundreds of miles away.

Talk about being free. Too bad I'd probably die in less than a month there. But man what a way to live

I watched a couple episodes one night with nothing else was on.....definitely not a lifestyle I could get used to.I don't think I could take the seclusion of it all, not to mention having to fight for every meal. Sometimes you just want to drive up to a window and have someone hand you something.

I'm a huge fan of most of the Alaskan shows. My personal favorite is the Alaskan Bush People weirdos.
