No you keep insisting I don't know what teams play in which conference. Funny how you just make something up & immediately think it's a fact.

I literally put the posts up for you. What is made up? I mean, other than your story about having the SECN and PACN?

Just so I get this straight. You are a Cubs fan, even though you were only born there, but grew up in Alabama. You are a Bama fan who has lived his entire life sans 2 1/2 years in Alabama, yet you've never been to a game? And YOU are calling someone a bandwagon fan? You must be a HUGE Bama fan to live there your whole life and never go to a game. :L I knew you lived out west, so I didn't understand why the one guy called you a bandwagon fan. After hearing you say you lived in Bama your entire life and never went to a game. I completely understand now.

And contrary to the belief of those whose life revolves around this board -- I only stopped on here to comment on the Tigers and AL Central, because that was the only reason I had come here. My son was born the month after I joined here, so I kind of had my hands full, so browsing other topics here wasn't an option.

Nope.

I was born in Chicago and my family is from Chicago. My step grandpa(who I only knew as grandpa) was from Alabama and so my family moved to Alabama shortly after I was born.

My mom and uncles grew up in Chicago and were huge Cubs fans(my mom went to the world series this year) so I get being a Cubs fan from them. I'm also a Bears fan for NFL.

My Grandpa was a huge Alabama fan, and my family moved to Alabama(and Nashville area) shortly after I was born. I grew up around both, except for some years when I was an Army brat and lived in a few other states. I would say it's about equal between living in North Alabama and Nashville in my youth. When I go home, I generally move to Tennessee rather than Alabama, even though my mom lives in Alabama. I was born an Alabama fan really because it's just what my family did for the most part.

I grew up the oldest of 3 kids and my family didn't have the money to be taking me to Alabama games. So I never got to go to an Alabama game when I was young. I listened to most games on the radio back then as well because only bigger games were televised. I don't even remember seeing Bryant-Denny before the late 90's because all the bigger Alabama games were played at Legion Field and that's what was on TV.

When I turned 18 I joined the military and during those years I was lucky to catch a single game a year because it had to be nationally televised. And I've moved across the country including nearly a decade in San Jose California(the reason for the Sharks, the only team I ever actually picked for myself). Usually, when I can afford to go to the games, I don't live near them.

The last time I lived in Alabama was like 1999-2003.

Plus, I don't really even give a shit because I've been to many NFL games and even with great corporate tickets - the games are better on TV. I can fuck during halftime, smoke weed, drink beer for less than $10 and I get great views because of the cameras without having to drive home. Tailgating is fun, but as far as watching the actual game itself, meh. I can watch the game for free and spend my money on something else.

Thanks for asking though, I love thinking back on this stuff.

You got mental issues. Nobody cares that you'd consider it a waste of time to watch other conferences or even more than 1 team. So because I'm not a biased homer who only watches 1 team you have an issue w/ that. Whatever keeps your asinine rants going I guess.

While we have differing opinions. I will just leave it at. I won't argue or go back and forth with someone who served this country. My brother was a marine, my grandpa was in the army, my father in law was in the army, my uncle died in the Vietnam war.

I will just say thank you for your service and anyone who is willing to put their life on the line to defend the freedom of our country. You can root for anyone you damn well please.

Just think. He won 10 games in his first two years in the B1G. Something Saban couldn't do in 5 years coaching in the B1G. Oh -- he also won a bowl game -- something Saban couldn't do as a B1G coach. :pound:

As I've said repeatedly. Saban is a great coach.......in the SEC.

You do realize that most of Michigan's losses under Harbaugh are due to shitty coaching decisions by Harbaugh, right?

Can't win his own division but he's got a mean twitter game. So he's got that going for him... and that's nice.

Feel free to fill me in on this one.
Off the top of my head.

Against Michigan State 2015 - how the hell are you not in max protect when the only chance for MSU to win is to block the punt and MSU nearly blocked two other punts when they weren't sending 10.

Against Iowa - they were by far the superior talented team and choked the game away
Against Ohio State - had a huge lead and blew it.
And as many Michigan fans kept complaining how he was playing less talented players over more talented players. Obviously that is poor coaching decisions.

Harbaugh continued to call the Peppers wildcat plays which were only productive against Rutgers and he never threw a pass in that formation that I could remember so it was obviously a running play every time.

The punt wasn't blocked -- it was dropped. If that is the coaches fault in your eyes. I don't know what to tell you.

Iowa game -- if you watched it -- Speight missed wide open WR after wide open WR. They stacked the line to stop the run and forced UM to beat them throwing. Speight was horrendous that game.

Against OSU -- Once again -- Speight kept OSU in the game. OSU only scored 3 points in regulation on offense and 14 points off Speight throwing picks. Harbaugh isn't on the field making the throws.

The only player UM fans complained about is De'Veon Smith. The reason for that -- he was the only guy we had who could hold up in pass pro. Once Chris Evans came into the game -- you knew it was a handoff or screen pass, because he was terrible at picking up blitzes.

UM did throw a pass with Peppers, but it was a flea flicker type of play. I will agree though -- I was tired of the Wildcat by the end of the year.

I'd think after watching UM's poor QB play and struggles prior to Harbaugh arriving, as well as the massive drop in play for MSU -- you'd understand that QB play is the key to success. The games UM lost -- each game Speight played Horrendous.

It'd be like people blaming Dantonio for being 3-9 last year. The simple fact is -- they didn't have a QB. This is why I said -- We won't really see how good UM can be until Harbaugh has one of his own QB recruits under center.

About the only team who can get by without an elite QB is Bama. Because they have NFL talent at every position on defense with 5 star recruits backing up 5 star recruits.

I didn't see anything about Harbaugh getting a 15 yard penalty called on himself.

He did get a penalty called on himself, but as replay showed, the refs blew the call he got flagged for getting upset about.

It should have been a false start on OSU, but UM was given an offside penalty instead. Then Harbaugh was flagged for arguing and throwing his clipboard (I think it was a clipboard)

I will also be the first to say he needs to relax on the sidelines. It is what it is though.
