This team just flat sucks right now. 41 is the least amount of points scored against UNC under Roy.

UVA with 96 points in their last 2 games. Duke on the other hand just dropped 99 today.

I saw that we shot around 28%. Were we just that bad or was UNC's defense just that good or a mixture or both? I didn't watch the game. I had a feeling we were going to lose but not that badly. That score reminds me of that game against Tennessee three to four years ago where we got blown out by 30. Hopefully the same thing happens in that Bennett talks to them and then they go on a run but I just don't see that happening with this team since there really isn't anyone that has stepped into that leadership role to light a fire under everyone's asses.

Mixture of both. UNC played good D but Virginia missed a ton of open shots. I think Virginia missed 1st 17 3 point attempts

Thanks Hitman. Manning has the Deacs headed in the right direction. See what he had to work with when he started and where he is today is really pretty remarkable. It takes time to build a team. He is actually ahead of schedule, IMHO.

Lunardi had the Deacs in his First Four Out prior to this weekend (along with Clemson and GT). That's inspite of all their records. Given the love the ACC is getting for being so tough this year, I'd say its a safe bet WF will make the NIT. Hell, they might even make the big dance if they close out the rest of their games the way some of these bracket predictions look

Syracuse (12)

Wake and Clemson is on the first 4 out while Pitt is on the next 4 out

Yeah, it really is night and day. The roster was so terrible when he got here. With that said, Deacs missing the NCAA's and Collins leaving early for the draft would have to be considered a nightmare scenario. Good chance they are a Top 25 team next year if he stays.

There were 25 possessions in the first half. Just wow.

Miami leads Virginia 20-19 at the half in Charlottesville. Good defense? Slow pace? Yes and yes. The two teams combined to shoot 15-of-44 from the floor in a 25-possession first half.
