1. Do you admit Billy left the cupboard bare for Dana? He did not do everything he could to get his team to 85 schollies before he was forced to resign?

2. Do you admit the lack of schollies played a role in the disadsterous season of '13?

The facts have been presented. There is no disputing the facts. One can have their differing opinions, but you have been repeatedly dishonest on the issues I questioned.

Some boards aren't made for everybody, especially if you can't take what you have served. This is reverting to the same stuff that was on CBS with you. BB, the cupboard was left in exactly the same condition as it is in most coaching changes, hardly bare, but less than full. The effort by some to pin Holgorsen's losses on someone else is ridiculous, you want to claim Holgorsen not having an extension is a valid excuse for a less than great recruiting class this year, you blame Lyons for the "crappy" class, BUT you refuse to blame Luck for the attrition after the 2010 season, calling Lyons names for not extending a 500 coach, calling him stupid and no balls, if there is a hypocrite in here, it aint me, brother. As to the disasterous 2013 season, I hold to the lack of direction as the biggest factor, the idea was to score points, keep scoring points, defense not needed if you keep scoring. The experiment with Efore as DC was huge is our losses that year, the guy just is not an effective coach.

Just as I thought, Lyons carries the blame for Holgorsen's CONTINUED recruiting failures, Luck gets no blame for anything.......Pastilong is a useless piece of crap even though he is the one who hired the coaches who are currently having great success....pitiful

DAD, name one team in the FBS who's cupboard was as bare as WVU's. Please remember, Billy had 3 years to fix his scholarship numbers. Also remember, there was very little loss of personnel transitioning from Billy to Dana. No different than the numbers we see on a regular basis today.

No. No Balls gets blamed for not making a decision on Dana's contract resulting in a poor recruiting year. Nobody said Dana was a great nor poor recruiter. The rankings, if you choose to believe them, are lower than in previous years. Recruiting has never been good for the University and this is something we can't afford to lose ground. Especially when a majority of the conference resides in hotbed states for recruiting. All of this while Lyin' Shane Lyons told us that the trend in coaching has gone to a 1 year contract. It was his trend, own it.

So far, I only blame Ollie for leaving. He laid out a vision for WVU sports which also included economic improvements for Morgantown in the form of a minor league team, new baseball stadium, and placing it in a place for easy access to it and the many restaurants and stores in that area. He laid out the changes for the football stadium and cleanup of the Coliseum.

Pastilong got us into the Big East then started his retirement. He had no vision for the direction of WVU athletics. What caused the riff between Tobacco Road and WVU? Did he work on mending fences or throw his hands up in the air. Coaches became stagnant under his reign. I give him credit for standing his ground on RR's book plan for athletes, but he screwed the pooch in hiring Stewart. He wasn't the only one. He allowed wrestling and baseball go down the crapper instead of improving it. I'll cut him a slight break on Title 9 because it caught other programs asleep at the wheel. Pastilong allowed this program to be a stepping stone / resume builder for coaches. A reason why Luck increased salaries of coaches in an effort to keep them here. You are acting like Pastilong hired ALL the coaches who are in place now. Pastilong hired a few who are now showing some success, Luck kept them here with a favorable contract and cut the dead wood.

Tell me what Luck did that was so bad? Was it his hire of Dana? We all know how you feel about Dana and Luck but any criticisms of Pastilong and Stew, you are the one who needs help. But then again you always show respect. Right?

I am not sure those who just want to hate...have no idea how lucky we were to have Oliver Luck..we will never ...EVER get a AD with the resume that man brought to Morgantown..he was totally over qualified for the job but felt strongly that he needed to step in and come to the rescue of his Alma Mater..and he did just that!

Luck was asked repeatedly to come to Morgantown to help bring the athletic department into solid footing. The good ole boy network was costing the program huge losses compared to its potential. Luck did not want the job. Thank goodness he reluctantly came back to serve.

1) you guys don't like Huggins
2) I do not like Holgorsen
3) you guys love Luck, I do not
4) we see things from different eyes, and will never see eye to eye on certain things
5) we all love the 'Eers and want great success for our teams, but seem to have differing ideas on what constitutes success.

You are incorrect here. The coaches I had whose coaching style was similar to Huggins were the ones I loved playing for. My high school basketball coach would always, without fail, beat me 10-4 in a 1 on 1 game. Then proceed to remind me by saying "10-4 good buddy" all practice. Although I hated it, he made me fight and compete every time I set foot on the court. I would have loved to play for a coach like Huggins, but the kids today are not built like that anymore. These kids don't want to run the treadmill for mistakes let alone have a coach in their face. Who are the physical enforcers in the NBA today? The Bill Lambiers, Anthony Masons, Charles Oakley, Dennis Rodman, Rick Mahorns, etc? Football players are programmed differently than the round ballers. It's always somebody in your face. The things I questioned about Huggy is if the game has passed him by due to the changes with the type of players and if the standards that you and Rusher applied to Dana would be applied to Huggy, then Huggy should be removed as well. But you want to say he is a HOF HC. What is that getting us today? What happened to his recruiting skills? Where is our sniff at a NC? I would expect more from a seasoned vet than a 1st timer, but it's not what I'm getting.

You still haven't answered why you don't like Luck. I can guess, but rather hear it from you.

I am not a Lyons fan. He fucked Dana last winter. He fucked the football program. He was chosen by the goofball president, so he is not going to go anywhere anytime soon. But, he has a lot of growing to do as an AD.

THERE IS NO DISHONESTY, Huggins is a HOF coach, who gets us to the NCAA most years, Holgorsen is a mid level football coach. People can differ in opinion without name calling as well. Say what you will, but in 2013, the kids bailed out on the coaches, did not buy in, and were not being coached effectively on the defensive side of the ball. I think Lyons showed strength in his dealings with Holgorsen, he offered a contract prior to the season, Holgorsen turned it down, and after a successful season, the coach and AD came to terms that were agreeable to both.
