The team in '15 belonged in the playoff no doubt and would have won it all, IMO. This past year, Buckeyes had no business in the playoff....

Not gonna argue w/ that. They were way overmatched by a talented Tigers team.

I think the opinion of they shouldn't have been left out in 2015 helped them get in in 2016

By the way, Zeke did not get one carry on 3rd down in that game against the Packers. WTF was your coaching staff thinking?

Your guess is as good as mine. This was a total coaching meltdown. Stop it! Trying to put this behind me!

I was going to start spouting off about OU's undefeated teams in the mid 50's with all the underclassmen but I checked and......this is the starting lineup on the one of the National Championship teams during the 47 game winning streak.

LE 195 lbs
LT 205 lbs
LG 193 lbs
C 205 lbs
RG 202 lbs
RT 207 lbs
RE 181 lbs
LH 169 lbs
RH 170 lbs
FB 186 lbs
QB 170 lbs

The current Ohio State team would beat that team by 60 points. Gotta vote OSU with the best rookie class ever. :pout:

I think at the start of the season the Buckeyes were clearly one of the top 4 teams in the nation, as they proved in Norman. But for reasons I couldn't begin to fathom, they got worse as the season went on. They definitely were not playing their best ball in December.

I blame it on the play calling. The '15 season was 1 of the more frustrating Buckeye seasons in a while.

The playcalling was shitty this year for the most part too and Barrett needs to work on his deep throws. In his defense, it doesn't help when you basically have no threats other than Samuel on the field. It will be interesting to see what they do in the offseason.

No doubt there are things JT must work on. As far as the upcoming season all we can do is hope he'll have better WR's to throw to. It'll also be interesting to see what the offense will look like under Wilson.

JT is still there? This dude is fucking 40. Reminds me of the Robbie Hummel who played for Purdue for 9 years.
