Clemson lost by 30+ points last night to Louisville. Clemson looked like a team that could contend for an NCAA tournament bid when conference play started, but they are now 1-5 in conference.

That's a pretty big hole to climb out of. They do have a pretty good SOS, so its not out of the question to suggest that they could make the NCAA's with an 8-10 ACC record.

I think if they get to 9 wins(which looking at their remaining schedule, isn't out of the realm of possibility) I think they're a lock, no matter what happens in the ACCT. If they finish with an 8-10 record, I think getting two wins in the ACCT, they would be feeling pretty safe. 1-1, would leave them squarely on the bubble.

Playing UofL at the Yum center is hard on any team.

I have a feeling Clemson much better than their record because they've played nothing but buzz saws on their way to this losing record. They could be a decent team.

Problem is that they're 1-5 right now. Have to beat some of those teams, especially since they are a veteran team. Also, their win over Wake was such bullshit. :doh:

Their game against VT on Sunday night is a must win.

They been dealing with injuries all year. Don't think that's fair to say. I'm not even sure if they played a single game yet with everyone available

Doesn't help that their freshman outside of Tatum are not playing that great. Having Jefferson miss 2 big road games against top 10 (final 4 caliber) teams probably didn't help either. They had a pretty brutal schedule to start of conference play. It gets a little soft now for a few games but losing this game would be bad

It's more the body of work couple with this game. Road losses to FSU and UL are not bad.

But a week off to play this bad at home to a decent team?

I agree. This would be a bad L for sure. I think they'll come back but we'll see. As Bilas just said games like this and Monday against NC State are games you really need to win.
