I get your viewpoint, and that's fine, I can see myself agreeing with it easily enough. Thing is, I don't think it is the viewpoint shared by the naysayers AMC is worried about. I think it's a mix of PC advocates and fans who loved Glenn. Overreactions by both, imo...but that's nothing new.

I wish the people who think less is more were the reason; I highly doubt it.

Yeah you might be right, but here's a thought, most people who are watching a zombie show religiously, are going to be okay with a certain level of violence. Popping the jaw off a walker with a katana, good to go.

I read stuff like Joe Abercrombie, LOVES me some grim violence, I just don't get needing to get all extreme closeup with it. Or super slow mo.

Again, less is more. 100 people watch 'Reservoir Dogs,' and 90 of them SWEAR they saw the ear come off. (they heard it, didn't see it).

The whole 'PC' pushback, is lame, imo. It's not 'PC' is bad, it's more to say that 'stuff I like is okay, stuff I don't, that's fucking TERRIBLE!' It's like the whole SJW put-down lately. The biggest SJW's are those who use the term.

I just find that people who decry the opponent by using it, have as big an agenda themselves.

If you're wanting to repeal Obamacare, you're just as big a SJW as some Greenpeace tool who wears leather shoes.

Obamacare is far different than Greenpeace. Being against Obamacare is against big government and for freedom. Greenpeace and being for Obamacare would be social justice because they don't believe in freedom.

Fuzzy concepts like 'freedom' are exactly what being a SJW are all about. Your tyranny and someone else's tyranny isn't the same. That's the point.

Greenpeace wants 'freedom' for whales. Obamacare wants freedom from having to take a second mortgage out on your house if you get cancer (assuming you have a house to take a second mortgage on)
