It's amazing the garbage that surrounds Fultz on Washington. But maybe he's just not a winner.
No, it's garbage, trust me.

Plus a coach that, from what I can tell, says "we are going to run as fast as we can on offense and, oh, if you feel like playing defense, that's cool but don't worry if you don't want to."

And last year they had that duo of Chriss and Murray which is ridiculous that he let that go to waste. That's more embarrassing than having just one phenom and not getting it done.

Only reason he's sticking around is because of Michael Porter Jr.

Utah's been a bit of a surprise so far. Yeah, they're only 3-2 but I expected them to win like 4-5 games TOTAL in PAC play coming into the season.

My rankings so far:

1) UCLA
2) AZ/Oregon

*HUGE GAP*

4) Cal
5) USC
6) Utah

Another gap

7-12 poop

I agree, although, I'd favor Oregon to finish 2nd based solely on the fact that they don't have to travel to Arizona. And Arizona has to travel to Eugene and to the LA schools.

It doesn't matter, as Fultz will be gone after this year. I hate the one and done. It has really hurt college basketball. UCLA will probably lose 2 Freshman to the NBA this season.

UW Basketball = poor man's version of UK/Duke one and done.

The recruiting classes aren't good enough to make them winners, but they leave anyway... :L

What a shift in just a couple days. Trier returns and Dillon Brooks looks like he'll miss some extended time. Could be a huge swing in the PAC 12 race.

Can't wait for Zona vs. UCLA today.

I'm excited, but I do think we should temper expectations a little since this is good first appearance and so much of our success is dependent on freshman, and this will result in some changing roles and big adjustments. Also, Sean Miller does not normally tolerate defensive lapses and this year has had to live with them due to our depleted roster, so now the freshman might see some frustration at times when they are given a quick hook after having a longer then normal leash up to this point

Wow, the last couple/few days with Trier has been crazy. Finally, he is back.

As happy as I am, and knowing that he has practiced with the team all year long, I don't think this helps us win against UCLA. Games are different than practice, and I think it's too much for me to expect Trier to just waltz in, in mid-season form. I guess we'll see, but I'm just tempering my own expectations.

But I'm stoked for the rest of the season. I think him coming back will galvanize the team and hopefully add cohesion. I think this will have more intangible effects as they settle in down the stretch. I hope there is no locker room fighting over minutes and everyone keeps their eye on the prize.

I'm so happy the freshmen have gotten all of this experience so far.

Hoping for good basketball and no injuries!

Yeah I highly doubt this does much for today and I think UcLA wins. But it's huge for the long haul.

Agreed. I think we stay with them until the last 10 minutes and lose by 10-15 in a closer game than the score indicates. Too much flux to play the full 40 we'll need to win. But it's also CBB and crazy shit happens on the regular.

I'm hoping they can hold things together until Brooks can return. Him going down is a big blow to the team. The others need to step up and show what they are made of.
