In a playoff setting I don't see it. Bama turns it on in big stage games. Too much speed. Too much size. Too much everything.

The one thing Ohio State would have going for it that others would not is it's defensive depth. The games I've watched of Alabama this year it looks like their offense relies on the the opposing defense getting tired bc Bama's D is so dominant. Ohio State rotates a lot on defense. Still wouldn't feel very confident on playing the Tide this year and none of it matters if Ohio State can't beat Clemson which is also a very real possibility

I said that my opinion agrees with Brasky's with respect to Penn State losing to Alabama if they played. (Since they haven't played, it's just opinion, based on observations).

Brasky said that as some sort of justification for the Committee's selecting Ohio State over Penn State (I am not implying it was the only justification proffered).

I said that most of us would have said that Ohio State would demolish Penn State as well; the point being that you don't actually know, and the Penn State-Ohio State game was a good illustration of how we can be mistaken.

What's so strange about that?
