What a stupid play though. Why on earth would you fake a punt, in your own end no less, with a 21 point lead? Had they not converted it was onle of very few scenarios where the Rams had a chance at a comeback.

it was ... save the play for a meaningful game ... now teams can scout that for the playoffs ... i dont know if it was because the Rams over the past few years have always seemed to beat the seahawks on the most fucked up pulling shit out of their asses trick plays on special teams etc ... but then Fisher was responsible for that and hes gone ... maybe the division rivalry had a role I guess ... then again I wouldnt be surprised if Ryan called that on his own ... he saw what the rams were giving them and took it ... goes back to time and place though ... dumb play
