Kinda thought after I saw he had like 4 carries for 50 + yrs early in game and then nada that he might have got hurt. Was hoping I was wrong. Did one of his Olineman cause it ?

Justin Forsett a Denver Bronco as he was awarded to us off waivers today.

Bibbs to IR with a high ankle sprain.

Had to clear a lot of teams above us, so no other interest in Forsett out there. I hope Kubiak can re-kindle a little of that Pro Bowl caliber running back here in Denver. Broncos need a serious spark. Glad to at least have a vet on the squad.

Well Forsett's only good season was with Kubiak so at least we know he's capable of producing in this system.

Maybe he is like Pot Roast...only works in one system with one coach at the helm. At least he brings some experience and won't take a while to get up to speed on our system. Could start this Sunday if we needed him to.

Not a lot of teams needing a RB right now. We are surely one that does.

Yep, considered that although there were 20+ teams ahead of us that had first dibs. I hope you're right and I'm optimistic that he has joined the Broncos. At least the team will have options as they head into Tennessee.

Did he bring the line he had then with him? Sorry I couldn't resist :)

The OL is definitely not what he had in Baltimore. He won't average 5.5 yards per carry like he did in 2014. What he does bring though is a guy that has a bit better vision. Booker's biggest issue isn't talent it is vision. He runs to where the hole is supposed to be but as we all know the ZBS is designed that the true hole could be a few different places just depending on what the defense decides to attack. RB's have to be able to see the cut back lane which just hasn't happened. Our OL is not great but our RB's have done nothing to help them look competent. Anderson was the only guy that could see cut back lanes and use them to his advantage. Booker has had some huge cut back lanes open up that could have turned those 1-yard runs into 5+ yards easily. Need a back that can do that and if Forsett is healthy I think he can be that guy.

Yeah. Booker is a rookie. CJ isn't. Game will slowdown for Booker next year. If anyone has been paying attention, it takes running backs some time to adjust as well. With much needed improvement on the line, I expect Booker to be very good next year. Oh, by the way, where does Booker rank with other rookie backs this year ? Hmnn....Oops!
