You do know that Demoff's father just happens to be Fisher's agent.

the extension happened in the offseason they just had not reported it. They wanted to hold off reporting it but then all this stuff about Dickerson came out and wasn't going away so they just used it now to possibly shut him up i think.

Also who cares if he was extended they can still fire him if they want. It would cost them but they can part ways with Fisher when ever they feel like it.

To be honest i couldn't care any less but there is one coach i am watching and that is Gus Bradley, wouldn't mind seeing him as our DC again. Get this D back to giving up less than 16 PPG again with better turnover numbers :P and lower YPG rushing and passing.

I find the news surprising. The Rams have been .500 or under for consecutive seasons, I don't see why Fisher even deserves a one-year extension? The Rams beating the Seahawks was a gimmie because they started off slow. I guess the Rams wants to continue to be below average. :/

they can fire him any time, the extension was signed in the offseason, it wouldn't be the first time a coach signed a contract in the offseason only to get fired at the end of the year lol. Hell Mora signed his contract and was then fired in the next offseason. I could see the Rams doing the same thing. I can see them looking for a coach that they want and signing him this offseason but if they can't find that coach they still got Fisher.

I should have read your post to begin with, but you are right. The extension shouldn't mean the person's guaranteed that he'll coach in a certain period of time. I should have known that by now.

i knew the extension meant nothing, seeing as it was signed in the offseason. About time they moved on. Lets hope they don't scoop up Gus Bradley this offseason and the Hawks can Bring him back to be the DC.

Not sure why either party would do that. I don't see him as a guaranteed step up from Kris Richard.

O.o have you NOT been paying attention? This defense is nothing like the the 2012 Defense. Would love to have that 15.9 PPG again. Heck we might have 1 more win with that defense than we do this year. When Richards was focused on the DB they played much better also. Bradley the DC and Richard back to DB coach :P
