I'd agree the B1G is a work in progress. They haven't been great in the non conf. thus far, but they haven't been absolutely terrible either. Only Illinois(Winthrop) and Penn State(Albany) have what you would consider bad losses thus far. Last year the conference had what I would consider 15 or so bad losses in the non conference. Now every team still has about 8 games or so remaining in the non conf. but I think the big takeaway thus far is that the bottom of the league is going to better than it was last year.

We'll see where things look at the end of the ACC/B1G challenge and at the end of the non conf. still a long way to go.

Needless to say, I'm pretty pumped about tonight's game against Arkansas at The Barn. It's honestly been probably 2 years since I've really looked forward to a game. Arkansas isn't a great team, but they are a team that is certainly capable of contending for an at-large berth. If we get a win tonight, we could be heading into big 10 play with only 1 loss. I hope The Barn is rocking tonight!!

That should've been a foul on ND right there and FT's for Northwestern.

I'm still going to say Arkansas has a chance to get an at-large bid, based on who they brought back. This is a surprisingly great performance thus far by the Gophers. Need to finish the job though.

Idk man.

This obviously could be an off night but they look terrible. No strength, can't hit lay up, can't catch passes etc..

They don't have a guy that stands out and you say "damn he looks like a player".

They were picked to finish 5th in the SEC, I know not a great conference, but based on projections that should be a team fighting for an at-large bid. The great thing about playing a team like Arkansas is that they are such a good home team, so you can expect them to still finish as a top 100 RPI team, even if they don't make the NCAAT. So this should be a decent to quality win.

On a side note, Coffey just looks absolutely tremendous. No joke, he could go down as Minnesota's best player in the last 25 years, in terms of talent, production and importance to the program. He looks like a complete game changer.

I'm really excited to see what this team can do against FSU in Talahassee. Honestly, if they win that game they finish the non conference undefeated.

Gophers look good though.

They do. Getting great contributions from Freshman and transfers. Wasn't sure they'd be able to put it together this quickly, they look better than I ever thought they would.

Indiana living and dying by the three and has no D. I'm feeling pretty good about UW winning this conference right now. Maryland looks impressive despite losing everyone but Melo.

Not an upset. Better team won tonight. God this team is young and dumb. Thank goodness it's only November.

With the highest ranking BIG team losing to a dinky school it's now panic mode for the BIG. What in the hell is going on???

It's November, now if the B1G gets killed in the B1G -ACC challenge then I'll hit the panic button.
