4-star OT TJ Moore:
"I've been busy with school and football, so I hadn't really had time to go on any visits," Moore said. "But I'd been wanting to get back to Tennessee to see a game. The visit definitely increases my interest in them and I'm planning on take an official visit sometime in December.

"It was an amazing experience. A few of the things that really impressed me were the Vol Walk and also how many people actually knew who I was. Everybody was yelling my name while I was walking and when the players got off the bus, they all shook my hand. Coach (Butch) Jones also gave me a huge hug when he got off the bus like I was one of own players."

"He was asking what I waiting on and to join the family," Moore said. "It meant a lot that he talked to me one-on-one. We talk on the phone a lot, so I'm definitely comfortable around him. My parents also have a great relationship with him."

As we've alluded to on the board, this is setting up to be a finish filled with drama as the Vols continue to chase a number of players at a number of different positions.

And one name we continued to watch is instate offensive lineman K'rojhn Calbert. The big man from McMinnville continues to pull in offers. He was at Tennessee's game against Alabama and the Vols stay in touch with him frequently at this point.

Don Mahoney is expected in North Carolina to see TJ Moore as the Vols could be labeled the favorite there at this point. But, he will likely take all five official visits so plenty could change.

Tommy Thigpen will check in on a number of different linebackers including Will Ignont. Ignont was a heavy Alabama lean last spring but the Tide seemed to have moved on after Ignont didn't pull the trigger. From what we can gather, Tennessee is going to be a serious player for him moving forward.

LSU is still in the mix and Michigan could be as well. But, there seems to be no clear leader as Auburn isn't in the mix as much as well.

“They said the view up there is beautiful and all that,” said Reid, who’s ranked by 247Sports as the nation’s No. 224 overall prospect and No. 15 outside linebacker in the 2017 class. “They said the fans, the atmosphere, it’s just crazy.”

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Reid said one of Tennessee’s coaches stopped at his school last month, and the Vols recently reached out to him “letting me know that there was still interest in me.”

“They said they still wanted to set up a visit and everything,” said Reid, who holds offers from nearly 30 schools. They said they needed linebackers bad. They need guys there — especially now, how they’re using their fourth-string linebackers — and that’s a big deal. And then they need somebody that can come in and change everything, like what I bring to the table — stopping the run, stopping the pass, coverage, anything they need.”

“Everybody just called me to check up on me,” Reid said. “They were just making sure the visit was still set up, and they’re going to show me the best time I’ve ever had at Tennessee.”

Reid admitted the Vols’ shortage of depth at linebacker is one of the main reasons he’s interested in them, but it’s not the only thing he likes about Tennessee. He said he’s also intrigued by the opportunity to play in the SEC.

“What makes them different is the relationship I have with them,” Felix said. “They call me basically every day and they tell me to keep doing what I’m doing and don’t let anything stop me and keep moving forward."

“Just to really get an actual feel for the school and hang out with the players a little bit; just get a better explanation on why Tennessee is Tennessee,” Felix said on why he wanted to see Tennessee on his official visit.” “Everything. The people, the players, they all made me feel like I was at home,” Felix explained. “I had a good time (Saturday night). I just like Tennessee.”

“They compared me to (Alvin) Kamara, just how he’s so versatile out of the backfield. He can catch, he can punt return and kick return,” Felix said. “I think it’s a good comparison.”

“They said Kamara is probably leaving and then they have (John Kelly), Carlin Fils-aime and another sophomore running back and then two committed running backs and they are taking three,” Felix said. “I just look at it as a situation where I’m competing. It’s the SEC so every week you have to play your heart out.”
