It's sometime during the day or night, you're REALLY hungry...What is it that you want??? Yes you can be drunk(or other conditions)at the time...But what is is you need/want at that time?
Fucking chocolate or something sweet. I rarely get to enjoy good sweet stuff like I did in the past. I got diagnosed with diabetes about 2 years ago and I had to give up most of that. I mean, I have not had a candy bar in 2 fucking years!! And I love snickers, reeces peanut butter cups, chico sticks, payday bars, and holy shit, they used to make a chocolate covered payday. that was the bomb.
Anyway, so now I settle on having 2 or 3 chips ahoy, oreos, or my favorite, chocolate/fudge covered deluxe grahams and a glass of milk every blue moon or so. Even milk is high in sugar, believe it or not. There's about 12g of carbs in 1 cup of milk.
I'm a bit embarrassed to say...fruit & cheese. But I do try to keep chocolate around for emergencies. Right now, I have a stash of those Ghirardelli caramel-filled squares but I'm noshing on strawberries & a bit of Kerry Gold Irish something or other.
Ketchup flavored chips. They are impossible to get in this country - unless you're willing to shell out $20 for 3 family-sized bags of Herr's chips on Amazon - and it drives me crazy!!
Also bacon-wrapped jalapenos. Decided to cut myself down to once or twice a month to keep my cholesterol low and man is it tough. If I could eat those suckers every day I would
Buffalo Wild Wings spicy garlic sauce. Used to love it on wings, but got too old to have deep fried skin on wings as often as I'd like. Went to boneless wings or chicken tenders with sauce. But that's not much better (if at all?) Than regular wings. Now I just eat the sauce by itself on tortilla chips. Still not exactly healthy, but it could definitely be worse.
