I bought an old pontoon a couple of weeks ago that the wife, son and I are restoring. Looking for ideas on how to remove old registration numbers and letters. They are the Tacky looking, silver square ones with black numbers /letters, like for mailboxes .

If it is the "stick-on" type, you can use a heat gun or even a hair dryer.
