The Developer "IMVGaming" Is an Indie Game Studio that has been working on a College Football Game for a year or so now! This game could feature the Playoff System; Customized Uniforms; And a Franchise Game Mode featuring the Top 25 Ranking.

So how hyped are you about this news? I know I am... NCAA Football 14 is getting old and EA Sports isn't making a new one anytime soon it looks like...

IF they use real teams and mascots I will be stoked. Has to have some realism to it. I am not playing as the Florida State Mockingbirds or the University of Austin Cattle.

Make them the real colleges, real stadiums, just make all the players 5'5 110 lbs and all the same race. Make the roster editable.

Also use all teams and not just like 30 of the most popular programs.

It's gonna be a kickstarter which means if it gets funding it's likely 2 years away at minimum.

They have separate YouTube videos for Q&A's if you want me to link them for more info on what they are doing. It will be actual College Teams they are planning to get a license from the NCAA by 2019 if the Kickstarter goes well. Sadly it may be awhile till a new game comes out but hey it *could* be worth it in the future.

I liked the old NCAA Football games to a certain extent -- I didn't like how they were basically the same year to year. It was always released in July and was a great thing to play the couple months before the season started. If they start it up again in any way, I'd like changes year to year -- major changes. Or maybe release a game with DLC packages for a couple years while you create a new game.

Well it is a Indie Gaming Studio so it will most-likely just be a updated game (not a new one every year) but I could be wrong.

If they have real teams, real stadiums and the game is authentic to college football I will be ALL OVER IT.

Hell, I like the idea of not even releasing a new game every year if it means to take the time to make a better more updated one every few years.

I am still playing nCAA 14 and feel it is finally getting outdate, but I play that thing for 2 years after it was released and it felt fine to play.

the unfortunate art is 2019 is a LONG way away...wish it was next Summer.

Yeah I know 2019 is a long way however if the Kickstarter goes well it could be sooner.

Kirk is vocal about missing EA NCAA FOOTBALL.

I am sure the athletes miss it as well.

Schools basically get paid for advertisement of their school. Also, coaches ADs gotta look at it as a potential recruiting tool as well. Talk to the developer about getting as much uni combos you possibly can into the game.

I think there's very little chance we see it and if we do I think it will be a big disappointment to be honest. As much as I tend to bash EA, they've spent years tweaking that game with a huge budget.

Remember how great 2k was for their football games, then they tried coming back in that NFL legends one which was loose as hell with the controls and just not nearly as good as the 2k's from a few years earlier? That's a good attempt. This one would be amazing to get close to that level.

Well it is an Indie Developer that is making the game so I wouldn't be surprised for it to be bad at first but as time goes by (and depending how much support they get from the Kickstarter) I wouldn't be surprised to see it become better. I mean the University of Alabama alone cost $250K for a license for the game.

Honestly, I would be happy if you could somehow just play NCAA 14 on PS4....My XBOX starts to rumble and hum like a 1970s sports car after it has been on for 10 minutes. I worry my days of playing the game will be numbered.

They need to make it Backwards Compatible soon on Xbox One so you can just play it digitally.
