Everyone saw the initial report about a 3 weeks ago about this missed drug test...we kinda blew it off as inaccurate, at least I did. Now, it's starting to look credible.
I'm not sure if there will be an appeal, but either you showed up for your test or you didn't...not much gray area on something like this imo.
Running, receiving, pass protection, Bell is arguably the best all around RB in the league today. However, at this point he seems to have a real problem with pot and could be headed down the same road as Martavious Bryant in losing a yr to weed.
Assuming he serves his 4 games, tests clean the rest of the year and has a good season...there will be a FA market for him w/o question, but I think he's already cost himself millions...he can forget a $15mil (pipe dream imo anyway from PIT), or even $10 mil per.
Should PIT make an attempt to keep him next year?
As good a player as he is...I hate to say this, but I think they need to cut ties unless he's willing to play to their number, which imo should be no more than $4 to $5mil per.
Your thoughts?
