Howard gets the start tonight because he's .333 off Rourk. But Joseph has a 5-game hitting streak. In 11 games (9 starts) he's 10/35, 3 HR, 5 RBI, 11 K, for .286/.289/.571. Against righties so far, Joseph is .217, 5/23, 2 HR. But Howard is .157. Oh, great! Go Phillies! Howard and Galvis are due for HRs anyway. :wank:

There are rumors swirling that the Phillies are shopping for a left handed bat.Hmmmmmm!

The Phillies seem to be working on that squeeze play more. They've done it a couple times successfully this year. I guess that helps when you only win one run games
