Not talking about Edge, MS replacement for IE, but Vivaldi. It's being developed by the original authors of Opera who left when Opera went in a direction they didn't care for. It is still in early development. Not really liking the layout of it but other than that is seems pretty stable and fast. Wouldn't recommend it for daily use but if you just want to give it a spin you can find it here:

A New Browser for Our Friends Vivaldi

Unlike Maelstrom it is available for Linux...and Macs

edit: Misspelled Maelstrom... :D

Have you tried it? What kind of options do it have for developers?

might have to look into this.

I get creeped out every time I use google maps (on my desktop) and it shows me where I am on the map because I have an android phone. (I know they have settings for this but still)

I always think that if anyone broke into my house while I was out of the house ..they could just go to Google maps and see how far away from the house I was.

Vivaldi has come out of beta and is available as a stable release. If you ever used Opera in the past or just want to try out a new browser it's worth a look see...or test drive if you prefer.

The new Opera is already better than the rest. I can wait to see how Vivaldi evolves before trying.

Will give it a whirl for a week or so, while I'm waiting for Slackware 14.2 to cut loose. Wish they'd just give me a source tarball instead of RPM or DEB packages.
