Yes. The All Star break is the right time

Lets just hope it doesn't extend much further beyond this -- doesn't look like it will. But you never know... its the Heat

What say you about possibly holding the draft AFTER free agency? I would say it wouldn't make much of a difference - depending on exactly how far apart they were to occur. Certainly might change the dynamic to how front offices put teams together.

I think it's inevitable. If we could keep Howard around $15 mil per, without the headaches, great. But it's not going to happen. But he's more refined than Whiteside, but he's on the downside of the career. I saw a trade that would include Omar Casspi if the Kings got involved.

So if that scenario were to happen - I'd be happier with the fact that we're getting Caspi then Howard. Also, we'd likely have to include Dragic in this deal to make the salaries work, as well as getting rid of Deng and Andersen.

I don't see the Heat re-signing Whiteside, so I'd be okay with it. But I'd treat Howard the way Turnup did with Lebron. I'll cheer for him because he's on my team, but I won't like him. Also, this really doesn't help the Heat much, because we really need shooters, which aren't really available.

With as bad as Miami needs shooters, why arent we looking into a trade for Kyle Korver? Im pretty sure the Hawks have made him an option for trade.

The Hawks seem to have put their entire team on the trade block per recent rumors. So, Korver could be an option via a trade or picked up as a FA if let go - don't know how likely that is to happen, though? Maybe then cut J-Rich and/or Stokes to make room?

Personally, as far as trades go -- I think the Heat will end up standing pat as they often do at the deadline - unless they find something that completely blows them away and benefits them.

I'd take Korver in a minute. Maybe we can offer Dragic, Whiteside, and Deng for Teague and Korver?

I know....wishful thinking.

Dragic is going nowhere. Nor should he. Korver is a nice shooter but he's having a bad year for his standards and oh yeah turning 35 next month. No thanks

I hate that idea.
Korver is hot garbage this year.

And why even think of moving Bosh?
He's prob the most undepreciated player in the league.
He's signed long term at the lower rate.
You can't replace hm.
