B1G is still more difficult than the ACC, Big 12 or Pac 12. At least that's what the rankings say.No surprise. You have ZERO competition in that conference. Here are my preseason 4 playoff contenders for next year:
Clemson - basically returns the entire team from last year
Bama - until somebody sacks up in the SEC, the SEC is owned by the Tide
tOSU - refer to Bama, only the Buckeyes have an easier path to the playoff. They were a fluke loss away from it this past year.
Baylor - I think Briles finally does it

Except it is.LOL, no it's not.

No, that's one of the top 2 coaches in the nation. Saban and Meyer on on a different level, simple as that. He gets elite recruits and knows how to use them.Urban Meyer FINALLY lost his 1st regular season conference game in 4 years and has only lost 2 games in the B1G in 4 years. That's a weak conference.....

I wish some team would finally beat Ohio State to win the Big Ten, they have won the last 25 B1G titles. No surprise. You have ZERO competition in that conference. Here are my preseason 4 playoff contenders for next year:

Saban walked into a completely different situation.Even Saban lost 7 games in his 1st two years at Bama. Meyer came in immediately and dominated with ease. He's a great coach no doubt, but it also helps when he has very little competition.
I agree except for this one. While they've recruited well the past 2-3 years, they still lost way too much IMO.Baylor - I think Briles finally does it
Yet, the B1G finished with 6 ranked teams this year, compared to 4 for the Big 12, 3 for the ACC, and 3 for the Pac 12. Hell, we even had two 5-7 teams win their bowl game (one of them against 8-4 UCLA).Even Saban lost 7 games in his 1st two years at Bama. Meyer came in immediately and dominated with ease. But since OSU has a really good record against most of those teams, they're weak. Evidently that's how this works.2016 Ohio State Buckeyes Football Schedule
An easy path you say...hmm.
I think I'd take this one over tOSU's...

All difficult games are at home with the exception of the neutral site rivalry game.

Ohio State (6/1)
Alabama (7/1)
Baylor (16/1)

Where is the Baylor love coming from? I know they got down to the 4th team QB last year, but they lost some very key players at other positions. What am I missing?Clemson
Ohio State
