If Denver loses at home, most likely it will be because Belicheck outcoached the Denver coaches and confused the young Brock.

What Denver needs to do is not let Gronk loose and they also need to generate a pass rush and cause Brady to pull the ball down and skip stones. Get your hands up, pressure Brady and once he pulls the ball down the play is over.

Both NYG and Buff played well enough to win but did not make the plays when they had the chance and there were plenty of plays to be had.

I would not be unhappy to see Denver cause some serious hurt on Brady and go ahead and continue their aggressive play that has led to over $400K in fines.

All I'm saying is that the Patriots have not had the starting offensive line since week 2. At this point they have one starting Tackle in Vollmer who is just returning from a severe concussion. The Patriots don't even have a third string OL, they've brought up everyone from the practice squad. They've lost their starting RB, two starting WR, so I don't think I'm whining, I think the Patriots offense is patchwork at best. The only solid piece is Tom Brady and he can carry the offense, but how far? Hopefully Jamie Collins will return from the illness he's had for the past month. He's lost almost 30 lbs. during this mysterious illness and Belichick wouldn't let him play against the Bills because he needs to put weight back on to be sure he has his strength back.

I'm not trolling. I said that if the Broncos win, they'll earn it. I don't think the Pats are just going to rioll over because of the injury situation and I think Belichick will attempt to come up with some complex wrinkles to confuse Oz. The Patriots best chance for a victory is by having a defensive game plan that will really limit Osweiler and force the Broncos to run the ball. The strength of the Patriots defense is actually against the run.

My question at the end of my original comment was serious and not mean spirited. If the Broncos lose, what will that mean for them? This is a critical game for the Broncos. Going to 7-3 isn't going to kill them. I think they'll win the AFC West. Problem may be that they have to travel after the Wild Card Round of the playoffs. Where do they go? Cincinnati? Foxboro? If the injuries are as bad you say they are, are the Broncos in danger of possibly getting bumped down to a wild card slot?

CD, you know I'm not a troll. I'm trying to ask serious questions. A lot of Pats fans believe that the Broncos are salivating about having the Pats over for a Sunday Night game. I think the Broncos are as worried as the Patriots about having enough healthy bodies to put up a serious fight next Sunday.

Hard to pick up on the seriousness of a person's tone on a message board. It sounded like to many of us you were saying something along the lines of "if the Broncos can't beat the Patriots when they are banged up like this then they stand no chance this year."

Like I said injuries are part of the game. The Patriots have probably been one of the best teams in the league at next player up that the system they play is very beneficial to the players.

Anyway if the Broncos lose this game they still control their own destiny when it comes to playoff seeding to get a bye week with the Bengals losing and still having to come to Denver at some point. So the loss wouldn't be devastating. A win definitely makes life much easier as it does give us a tie breaker in case the Patriots slip up down the stretch and ups the chances of us winning the division. KC seems to have found their stride lately so don't want them thinking they stand a chance to catch us.

Right now for the Broncos they are working on establishing a whole new identity on offense. If the Broncos can continue to build on the momentum of this past week with how well the run game took off then I do like the Broncos chances. I honestly think the opposite of you on this BigKen in I think the Patriots load up to stop the run game and dare the young QB in Osweiler to have to go out and make some plays to beat them. The Broncos kept things very simple in the pass game this past week for Osweiler. They helped to not overwhelm the young guy. I could see BB forcing the Broncos to see great match ups in the pass game and BB say "go see if you can beat us young man."

Also @BigKen I'm not all that worried about playoff seeding with this Broncos team. Defense travels well and well the Broncos have one of the best if not the best in the NFL right now. So whether we play you guys at home or in Foxboro I'm not too worried. Yes obviously would rather have that be a home game but the Broncos have shown in 2 of the last 3 playoffs that being at home doesn't really guarantee victory. Throw in I do like Osweiler if he is still starting in the cold weather wherever we go. Chicago was a terrible weather game yet he still did just fine. I didn't see any of his passes get hung up by the wind. So I like this team both at home and on the road to be able to find a way to win.

Alright stats time.

Only 3 times in NFL history has there been a game where one team had 0 penalty yards and the other team had over 100.

Osweiler on 1st down running the play action was 6 for 6 for 70 yards.

From under Center Osweiler was 11-14 for 172 yards and 1 touchdown.

Broncos ran for a season high 170 yards

Our 51 snaps from under Center is tied for most by any team in one game this year.

The last 2 QB's drafted by the Broncos that were able to win their first start are Brock Osweiler and crazy but Gary Kubiak back in 1983 against Seattle.

With Sunday's win it guaranteed that we would not have a losing season. In the past 32 seasons (since Bowlen took over as owner) the Broncos have only had 5 losing seasons. We have been to more Super Bowls in that time span than losing seasons. We have been spoiled as fans.

Jake The Snake was 3-0 vs Brady and Belichick

Granted, that seems like a lifetime ago, however, I think Brock running Kubiak's roll outs and play action bodes well against the Pats . . great coaching could nullify Manning, but the offense now is opened up - advantage: Kubiak

Wow. Just looked at remaining games for AFC West teams. KC has very good shot a running the gauntlet with their remaining schedule. They look pretty good on both sides of ball compared to beginning of season. Denver has 3 tough ones with Pats,Steelers and Cincy. Could very well end up playing a game 3 with Chiefs. :(

2 in Denver: a 28-20 win in the 2005 regular season and a 27-13 win in the ensuing playoffs. In 2006 Plummer led the Broncos to a 17-7 win on the road.

This is not true. Many times you just have to get hot at the right time. NYG , GB, ARI, BALT come to mind in the last 4-5 years

look and think kiss of death stuff ...:heh:

by the way you are right ...and I agree ... still NE is probably going to murder us ....sorry ... something keeps telling me that they are not going to lose a game until the NFL addresses what ever they are pulling this time.. If they are doing what I figure there might be jail time in it for said people pulling it ..

Getting ready to call it a week at work. The highlight of my weekend is time with family, friends and food. However, this game ranks right up there. I hope the Broncos smash the Pats, Belichick, Little Hoodie and Mr. Tom Brady himself. GO BRONCOS and Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Broncos brothers out there!

Don't be rude, Malibu. Let BK make his excuses in advance. If the Broncos win they will have earned it against a 10-0 team. If the Pats win they will have earned it on the road against an 8-2 team. It's a good game coming up and a good time to be a Broncos fan. It's a good time to be a Pats fan, too so I don't know why they think they need to make excuses in advance of this game. It's pretty weak, really.

Not sure I'd use the "rebuild" term on this team. But, if that's the case perhaps we "rebuild" like the Patriots did after Bledsoe.

I feel pretty confident that we will beat the Patriots. After dominating for weeks, the Patriots have not looked as good the last couple weeks. They're getting close to finally getting that first loss. Our defense is going to make it a tough day for Brady. I see Von Miller coming up big! I also think Osweiler will outplay Brady. We are going to beat the cheater's franchise and it's gonna be a win that lets everyone know that Denver is a MAJOR Super Bowl contender this season!
