Both groups are very tough IMO. Novak should walk to the semis but I think there is a chance Kei makes it over Fed.

Group 2 is very interesting to say the least

It sure looks like the Big Four (if Murray get lumped in with them) are starting to separate themselves from the rest of the tour again. Every year we expect to see the new guy rise, but they just don't. Last year, Kei looked like he might become on that level if his forehand and serve kept improving, but Novak served him a hard dose of reality.

How many of these eight will be back next year? Do we have any reason to think it will be less than seven?

Rafa is steamrolling Murray right now.

Rafa vs Fed/Novak in the semis will be really interesting to say the least

i give fed the advantage on an indoor hard court. wawrinka doesn't have the shortest groundstrokes.

rafa is so fresh right now, and nole has played so much, i wouldn't be surprised to see a tough match with rafa coming out on top.

nole gave rafa a whipping.

and i don't think rafa's level of play dipped much compared to the rest of the last week.

nole is just about as dominant a #1 as is possible right now. wow.

Yeah. Felt like FED had the better year, getting farther in the bigger tourneys.
