Duke's corch is a bitch. In accordance with a well written post #130, he's a dumb bitch.

If Duke couldn't end this game against a downtrodden Miami before the last 6 seconds, fuck 'em. Calling a questionable block or extra man on the field as the play ended would have been a crime in the grand scheme of game irrelevance.

Enjoy the win, Canes, without guilt for the knee down.

I cussed up a STORM at the end of this one. I really wanted Duke to win. And I even feel sorry for Miami, after the beat down my Tigers put on them. Even so, I wish that the Blue Devils won.

Not to mention the Artie Burns interception that ended the game but was called back due to A phantom PI... Duke never deserved this game, and the football gods agrees...

Duke deserved to lose for kicking to Miami with 6 seconds left. That was a dumbass desicion. Kick out of bounds, give it to miamis back up Qb at the 35 with 6 seconds left and they win the game.

Look, if the numerous infractions didn't happen during the play, players knee was down, and Miami players hadn't come off the bench onto the field, I would support Miami and a legitimate win.

I played as hard as I could Edisto. But if you can pick up a flag that was thrown for a penalty, have more men on the field than is allowed by rule, and not count a knee that was down even after a video review, then Duke just won't recognize this loss. Duke is 6-1 still, and fuck everybody. :mad2:

You can't. But, as long as the extra people don't participate and have an impact on the game then it's penalized after the play. Had that happened at any other point in the game, the touchdown would've stood and they would've been penalized after the touchdown.

This is when the game should've ended. And Duke had five penalties for 40 yards compared to Miami's 23 penalties for 194 yards!

Yes. It really sucked that the refs screwed up by allowing Miami to interfere with Chris Gamble then miss the fact that he caught the ball in bounds with 2 minutes to go which would have been a first down, allowing Ohio State to run out the clock and win in regulation.
