Had one of these last week at a family gathering in PA. Very flowery, not what I expected, but pretty good. It was very similar to a Southern Tier hop bomb.

I just popped a Natty Greene's Buckshot Amber. Didn't like it at first, but it tasted better the warmer it got

Funny story about this beer (or a version of it)

I won a big beer pool last year and someone sent me a Barrel Aged People's Porter. Unfortunately that beer is known to have some infection issues, which results in high carbonation in the bottle and a sour taste. Not good. This can vary from bottle to bottle or whatever, so it's not always known beforehand.

Anyway, we're popping some bottles one night and I go to the cellar and grab this one. Only thing on the table is a lighter so I grab it to pop to cap off and the moment I touch the lighter to the edge of the cap the thing shoots off with a pop like a gun going off and hits me square in the cheekbone. Left a C-shaped ridged cut in my face that bled for 20 minutes.

I laughed it off and took some pictures. Sent an email to Foothill's to let them know and they apologized and sent me a bottle of Barrel Aged Sexual Chocolate. Nice gesture.
