Not sure where I stand on this. I have been one of Robert's biggest supporters. My fear is he agrees to run the read option for someone else and balls out. However, if Scot has seen enough maybe I should fall in line. I'm just not sold on Gruden either. Is one bad preseason game without your starting left tackle enough to cut bait? Maybe they looked at last year's film as well. Jay and Scot better be sure of this.

Until he gets layed up again due to an injury likely coming from Griffin not protecting himself.

Good grief. If all the info in that link is accurate. Once again the Redskins made sure to put themselves in the worst position possible when the shit hit the fan concerning Griffin.

i would caution against stories that have speculation and innuendos

i go back to the fact , gruden has benched 3 before when he put colt in there i doubt danny loved that at all

my take is there is some different views about 3 and gruden named him starter to let him sink or swim

so far he has sank either by his play or his health

they showed ownership the real deal

you cant keep going on with 3 if he is at a grade school level of qb play and keep the rest of the team "involved "

you have 2 choices , cut bait now and run or line up 3 as the starter when he is healthy and build up the case for or against

and if gruden cant make the call then he is getting hosed because it isnt fair to fire him if he cant play who he thinks is best

If I'm not mistaken, all sheffter has reported is that it has "been reported".....

In other words, he hasn't actually talked to anyone himself, just reporting what some other reporter wrote.

Washington Redskins consider moving on from Robert Griffin III
Video says it all.
His name is on the byline, so I'm pretty sure he's reporting it. This is from 30 minutes ago. If Robert stays, it means Scot doesn't have final say. That's the real issue here.

Yep - most likely if they want to get rid of him they will need to cut him. If that happens - oh well - write it off as a past mistake and move on (& don't worry about how he plays elsewhere).
