That's really reasonable. Our resident licenses are almost that much. North of Sacramento used to have excellent pheasant hunting too, sad

Our season is only 15 days for the opener. Sept 1 - Sept 15th. Sucks. It used to be 30 days till the end of the month. Instead they made the second season from the second season in Nov to late Dec when everyone is duck or pheasant hunting

Near Turlock and Patterson. Haven't been to Auburn in years although I like it there. Keep wanting to make a wine trip to the foothills.

Regular season for mourning and white wing runs Sept 1-Oct 31. Extended collared dove runs Nov. 14-Dec 31.

We should have a great year. Lots of water and plenty of food. Our cut Wheat fields have birds in them all the time.
