One of my favorite movie lines ever

Imo there are 6 legendary Canadian wrestlers.

Benoit(watch the matches and you will see why), Adam Copeland, Hot Rod, Owen and Bret Hart and Chris Jericho.

3 are in Heaven
???

Edge, Bret and Jericho are still alive, aren't they?

Yup. I think I know what you are getting at and I agree. What I think he meant was that 3 are dead. If there is a heaven I'm pretty sure only 2 of them are there.
Yeah. This is not the time or thread for that discussion, but the sentiment needed to be made.

Best mic guy ever. He could cut a promo, announce a match, or conduct an interview as good or better than anyone else in the industry. GOAT.

Too bad all the coke in the 80s damaged his ticker. Pro wrestling is a tough life.

RIP Hot Rod. Not old enough to have watched him when he was still wrestling back in the 80s, but always loved seeing him on RAW when he did please everyone with his presence in the mid-2000s and later after.

I clicked on an episode of WWF Superstars from 1991. It started with McMahon at the announcers table with Randy Savage and Roddy Piper. The first match had Davey Boy Smith against a jobber and Curt Henning cut a promo in about a title match against DBS. Then they cut to what happened the week before when Undertaker stuffed the Ultimate Warrior into a coffin. A bit later John Tenta (Earthquake) had a promo. After a match and some other promos, the Road Warriors had a match.

That was only the first half of the show. Just 24 years ago these guys were all in apparent great shape (before the full extent of steroid abuse's long term effects and how much these guys were abusing their bodies was known) and so many died. You always read about it but that half hour really put it into perspective. At least 7 top stars from that show dead and gone.

Additionally, the Big Bossman and Kerry Von Erich cut promos. Also forgot to mention Paul Bearer. That is at least 10 gone. Crazy!
