Fantasy Football

The last couple of years we have done a Denver Broncos FF League. Are you guys interested in doing that again this year? We are early in the process so not hurry but just wanting to gauge reaction. Also was thinking about instead of just doing the the usual league maybe changing it up a bit this year as we seem to have pretty much the same guys every year for this (if new people want to join then that is great so don't think this is just for the regulars). I was thinking about doing one of the Keeper leagues where every year you get to keep maybe 2-3 players from the previous year. Anyway any kind of feed back would be great.

Also just a heads up this doesn't just have to be for the Bronco fans on here. I think in the past we have had Chiefs fans join us if I remember right.

Not crazy about doing a keeper league, but if everyone else is on board then I'm on board too.

You know I'm good to go and am with DSH on keeper thing. Never really liked it myself. Kind of takes fun out draft day when most the big names are off board. IMO anyway.

I like the keeper idea. I have played in a keeper league that past 4 years. Big names always go back in. In my league all first or second round picks are not eligible to be kept. Also you can't keep your previous year keepers. We are allowed 2 keepers a year. That league is a 14 team league. The last couple of years we have had only 8 teams so if it is decided to keep players maybe make the first 3 rounds always go back in. I'm good to go however it's decided.

I am up for whatever this year just trying to figure out maybe a new way to add some intrigue to our Fantasy Football Draft. Plus we do seem to have about the same 8 people or so do it every year. If you guys want to stick with what we have done then I am all for that too.

Just trying to think of some things also Cd to add some extra intrigue/ incentive,etc. We could go with....whoever scores most points for the week gets 1 pt and whoever ends up with most points at end of Reg season gets first pk in draft next season???? Umm..... The Commish could give out $1000.00 SB Champ prize....

ok seriously? If I was in your 12,FFL and I had 1st pk, my top 5 pc's would be....
1. AP
2.Picking at 13 I should still be able to grab wr AJ Green,Hilton or possibly J.Hill
3.don't feel need to grab Qb yet so prob still have chance at E.Sanders or even take gamble on Gurley.
4. I need to think Qb here and odds are I can get Flacco or Wilson possibly
5. Denver D would be nice but still to early for me so I grab wr or rb maybe Jordon Matthews, rookie rb Gordon ( love the guy and think he could be sleeper),Ingram or maybe Cruz from NYG. That's just my" off the top of my head" no cheat sheet in front of me early maybes

I could be talked into it, depending on when the draft is. If it is a Monday or Wednesday and doesn't conflict with my live drafts, I would be down. Any $$$ involved or is this just for bragging rights?

I know Cd will fill you in but I believe we've just done it 2 yrs now and our Commish Cd has run it. It was live draft and mostly bragging rights but last yr Cd won a couple gift certs from work I believe from NFL.com and graciously donated them to the Champ and either runner up or last place guy. I was neither. Think I might of gave the latter some competition though. Anyway, think we had 8 teams but have feeling now there's libel to be a tad more .

Hey sorry haven't gotten back on some of this. Yes we need to figure out soon when we are doing the draft. I also need to know who for sure is doing this. I have those above but any of you new guys I will need your email address to send you an invite to this league. Old guys might as well send it again to me just to make sure I have it right or if you have switched emails kind of thing. This is as usual open to anybody and everybody. We are going to do a standard league with Snake style draft. You guys/gals can either write your email on here or PM me it. Either way works for me.

Alright I'm getting the draft set up so be checking your email soon to see your invite! I'm working on adding the new guys right now. Now we just need to figure out when to do the draft. What days/nights whatever work for you guys? We can really do it any time from here until the season starts so just let me know what times work for everybody that wants to join.
